Two points. First of all, this film, like the Lone Ranger of 2013, flopped in distribution, although the film is good in fanre and is also western. Secondly, this candidate is played by Kenneth Bran, who also played Andrei Sator, who is PE approved. Yes, and the film itself is in Western fanre. In short, I have a lot of reasons for the proposal and I'm sorry I wrote all this, I just wanted to share it.

WHAT'S THE WORK?[]

Wild Wild West -is a 1999 American Western action comedy film.Interestingly, Will Smith and Kevin Kline starred in the film, set in 1869, four years after the end of the Civil War, with America's key scientists kidnapped. US President Ulysses S. Grant instructs James T. "Jim" West and Artemus Gordon to find the scientists. And another scientist is behind the kidnapping, who is also disabled and rides a steam-powered wheelchair. Do you smell trash? Oh, he is also a former Confederate soldier. Hi Thomas Magruder!

Who is Dr. Arliss Loveless/What has he done?[]

Nothing is known about the past Dr. Arliss Loveless He was presumably born around 1850 and fought in the American Civil War on the side of Cofenderation. As the war drew to a close, Loveless had one incident in which he became disabled while using a steam powered wheelchair to get around. Because of this, he was most likely sent home, where he learned of the defeat of the Confederacy, which infuriated him.

Deciding to avenge the United States, Loveless amassed wealth and found many Confederate soldiers who, like him, wanted to destroy the United States. Together they founded the Loveless Alliance. Loveless set out to create a powerful weapon and for this he kidnapped several scientists and forced them to create weapons. One of the scientists escaped and tried to tell US President Grant, but Loveless beheads him with his flying pill.

His scientists have created a steam tank and as targets, Loveless uses the town of New Liberty where West's parents also lived. Loveless then throws a party for the elite of southern society at his mansion where Dr. Loveless displays his tank. He targets former Confederate soldiers as punishment for lack of disloyalty to the Confederacy. General McGrath opposes, but Loveless doesn't care and he shoots McGrath before leaving with his guests.

After that, Loveless returns to his headquarters, which is located in Spider Canyon, There, the mad scientist presents his greatest invention, namely a giant mechanical spider, which is armed with a very powerful weapon. At a ceremony in Promontory Point, Loveless sees Grant and Gordon and takes them hostage.

At his industrial complex, Loveless presents a plan to Gordon and demands that the President sign the surrender papers, but when Grant refuses, Loveless orders Moonitia to kill Gordon, but Loveless is distracted by a belly dancer who turns out to be West's disguise when he escaped death. West eventually frees Gordon, Rita, and the kidnapped scientists, but Loveless escapes with his mistresses and the priest.

Loveless decided to destroy another city with the help of his spider to force the US President to surrender, but his plans are again thwarted by Gordon and West, who are fighting their mistresses and his troops. Loveless, seeing that his plans fail, descends into the engine room, where West confronts him. They engage in combat, both of which end up holding onto a wheelchair cross that fights for Perril. Loveless taunts West, but he jerks the lever in response before grabbing a chain outside the engine room to escape, while Loveless falls screaming from a cliff and dies, taking his plans to destroy the United States with him.

Freudian Excuse / Mitigating Factors[]

So two points. The first mentions that he was upset because the Confederation lost. It also seems at first glance that when he uses General McGrath's soldiers not only as targets, but because they sent the Confederation to the Americans. It turns out to be hypocrisy when he reveals his plan for dividing America between countries, he is also ready to be sold to the Confederation, but even without that, his disability and anger at America over losing the Confederation does not justify his massacre of people like West's parents. that have nothing to do with his pain.

The third moment, this is his love for his mistresses. It seems he cares a little about them, but in the finale, when one of his mistresses Munitia dies in the finale, although he comes in shock, he still continues his path, and moreover, he tried to be killed Vesta not because of the deaths of his mistresses, but for disrupting his plans, not at all mentioning any of his mistresses during the battle with West, although he was a disgusting man at least for the death of one of them. Moreover, he is angry for death. his soldiers and mistresses, this does not mean that he cares about them. Take again his hypocrisy when he uses his people as targets and as revenge for the disloyalty of the Confederation (as already mentioned, he is ready to sell it himself.)Thus, his tragedy does not justify his atrocities and he rather views his mistresses as tools that help him.

HEINOUS STANDARDS[]

Loveless as the main antagonist of the film sets the standard and absolutely all the troubles and all the dark moments are connected exclusively with him. The film generally reminds me of the James Bond films and none of the henchmen stand out in comparison with him. Moreover, General McGrath shows certain standards when he in horror during the shooting of his minions. The film itself is a comedy, but all of Loveless's actions are played out seriously. Loveless can in some scenes, outside of which is kind of funny, the film itself considers Loveless as a serious threat and the rest of the characters take him seriously.

Loveless himself is an extremely dark villain. Perhaps in some scenes he can be somewhat funny, but that does not negate the fact that he is taken seriously. He kills a scientist when he tries to escape and informs the presenter, he uses the whole city and a platoon of soldiers as targets for his tank, ready to destroy an entire country or just divide it between other countries, ready to destroy an entire city in order to make President Grant surrender, detonate a bomb in a random border town, just to prove his point of view. This pushes him far beyond the moral horizon.

VERDICT[]

Consider all of this, as well as the fact that Loveless is competing with no one and that the film itself is a comedy and you get Butch Cavendish 2.0 without cannibalism. I think it fits.
