Yet another case of comic book villains in the public domain, this time from a short science fiction story about a giant killer robot who has the brain of a blatant expy of Adolf Hitler. I copied and pasted the paragraph from this character's main page, which I made myself.
What's The Work[]
Cerebex is a science fiction short story published in Planet Comics, about a dying dictator who has his scientist put his brain pattern in a machine known as "Cerebex". But the scientist betrayed him and kills the dictator, but he lives on through the Cerebex machine which now contains his brain and uses his newfound powers to conquer the entire planet. The two heroes, Brad Cummings and the dictator's daughter Mary Smith have to put a stop to the mad machine before it brings the whole world to ruination.
Who Is Cerebex and What Has He Done?[]
Schmackenburg was a dictator who wanted to conquer the entire planet, but when his defeat was imminent, he faked his suicide within a bunker and hid. He was soon dying and instructed his scientist Walter Jackson into placing his brain with his daughter's body, experimenting on her until she eventually escaped his grasp. He then decided to have Walter build the Cerebex machine, containing his memories and brain pattern, so that way he can live on as a weapon of war and conquer the planet once again.
However, Jackson betrays and kills him, planning to harvest his brain pattern and have the machine rule the world for him. However, Schmackenburg, now as Cerebex which contained his mad mind but increased 1000 times more powerful, kills Jackson in revenge for killing him. He then goes off on a rampage, destroying fighter planes and killing the pilots in them, and laid waste to a city he was in. He then begins using his mechanical abilities to create an army of robots and wreak havoc across the country. Several homes being destroyed, cities laid waste as his robots slaughter whole armies trying to resist his will. The whole country being devasted by Cerebex's onslaught. Eventually decided to send his robots to assassinate leaders of other countries so that there will be no competition to his attempts at world conquest.
Cerebex's daughter, with help of a man named Dr. Brad Cummings, makes plans on how to stop his rampage. Mary has a mental connection with the mechanical monster thanks to the experiments her father put her through in his attempts to take over her body. She learned that Cerebex's plans and fails to warn the Prime Minister of the attack. Brad and Mary try to use a giant robot but quickly learn it will not work on Cerebex, as he can easily hijack the machine and make it part of his arsenal.
Brad came up with a new plan to stop the mad machine, instead of using mechanics and wires: make a robot entirely of wood. So, he crafted a giant wooden robot and march it towards Cerebex, who fails to stop the robot from approaching him. It destroyed Cerebex's artificial brain, thus killing him, rendering his army immobile and ending his mad campaign of conquest for good.
Mitigating Factor[]
Dude is a blatant stand-in for Hitler just without the Swastika. He doesn't have a lot of personality due to his short screen time as a human, and only has a few lines, and by the time he is Cerebex he doesn't talk at all. But he has a define personality, he's a power-hungry dictator wishing to conquer the planet, cowardly tries to take over his daughter's body to preserve his own life by placing his brain in her body and murders his former scientist out of revenge for killing him. He also established levels of cunning and strategy to add to his personality, especially by the time he comes back as a robotic monster due to recording his brain patterns onto the machine.
Heinous Standards[]
The worse villain in the story bar none, he plans to conquer the planet with an army of robots and his means is to lay whole cities to ruins, killing thousands at a time, and slaughter armies in his way. Doing so across the whole country where he brought nothing but destruction and death, bringing the country to ruins, and intending to rule the planet through waves of mass slaughter and massacres. Then plans to kill off several leaders across several countries to make it easier for him to conquer, even before being a robot he tried to hijack his daughter's body to keep himself alive.
Final Verdict[]
I think he is an easy yes in my opinion.
