Been a hot minute since I did one of these, this blog was copied and pasted from the page of which I made myself just to clarify. Got a bit lazy, so decided to find some of these old timey comic books for fun. Mainly ones in the public domain, because I love me some public domain stories.
What's The Work?[]
Master Mystic is a 1940s public domain superhero comic about the titular hero who lives in a tower on top of the world. He uses his sheer will and psychic powers to fight evil across the globe. Now he's fighting an evil madman hellbent on mass destruction and death. It only lasted for one issue.
Who Is Rango of Slovania? What Has He Done?[]
Rango was a madman who sought to rule the world, but for some reason he was defeated and never got to achieve such goal. So, in secret, he conducted an experiment that would allow him to have the power to destroy every nation in the world. He succeeded and injected the serum onto himself, becoming a gargantuan behemoth now seeking revenge on the world for getting his way.

He would go across spreading destruction and death in his wake, laying waste to cities across country. His rampage leaved the refugees to clog the streets and flea to the Eastern Sea Coast. Rango then marches his way to the Atlantic Ocean to lay waste to another country. The Master Mystic hears the pleas of the people from his tower located at the top of the world and goes to confront the villain. Master Mystic confronts the monstrous Rango to end his rampage.
Rango grabs Mystic with intent on crushing him to death, but the hero turns himself into smoke and vanishes in front of Rango's eyes. He then uses his psychic powers to summon an aerial torpedo and launches it at Rango who catches it. Deeming the torpedo at a toy to him, he reaches down to throw a series of boulders at Master Mystic who uses his psychic powers to stop them.
He then uses his powers to pierced Rango's mind, reducing him to a pile of liquidated puddy, thus killing him. Ending his reign of terror once and for all.
Mitigating Factors[]
He's a flat one-dimensional villain, but like Malekith he got at least enough personality to count. He was a megalomaniacal mad scientist who wanted to rule the world until he was thwarted, so to satisfy his desire for petty revenge he decided to become a genocidal maniac and wipe out all countries that stopped. He becomes giddy on the prospect of turning himself into a gargantuan mass-murdering monster of destruction too. Nothing complex or remotely redeeming about him.
Heinous Standards[]
Not a lot to talk about, he's the only villain in the comic as well as the worst in it. He plans to enact a mass genocide campaign across the globe, wiping every country for denying him his dreams of conquest, destroying cities in his murderous rampage. He's easily bad enough to pass.
