I've been thinking a lot about whether Merope Gaunt from the Harry Potter franchise should count as a villain.
Merope Gaunt is the mother of Lord Voldemort. She is a tragic character who was heavily abused by her father and brother.
Reasons why she may count as a villain.
1) Merope Gaunt used a love potion on Tom Riddle Sr. To make him fall in love with her. He left his fiance and married her instead. This makes Merope a brainwasher.
2) This one is a bit tricky. Merope slept with Riddle while he was under the influence of the love potion. This may make her a rapist. It is debatable, because since he was under the influence of the potion, he wanted to sleep with her at the time. It is definitely ethically wrong, but whether it is actual rape is…Read more >
Redwall Villains is currently under the category of Dark Fantasy . I don't want to start an edit war over this, but I strongly disagree that it is Dark fantasy.
Here is the description for the Dark Fantasy category.
"The setting of these stories are often brutal, and involve morally dubious heroes (or no heroes at all). Good does not triumph over evil very often, and the general population lives in misery and conflict. Unlike many other forms of fantasy, these settings do not indulge in whimsy or "fairy tale" aspects, and instead focus on brutality, much like ancient myth and folklore."

I am proposing Todd Douglas from the series Magic 2.0 by Scott Meyer as Pure Evil.
Magic 2.0 is a Sci-Fi comedy series by Scott Meyer. In the series, the characters find out they live in a computer program. They are able to access a file that controls the world they live in and manipulate it to create "magical" abilities. Most of these characters end up using the file to travel through time at some point.
The main character is Martin, a young computer programmer who goes back in time to medieval England and lives as a "wizard". He lives in a community of "wizards" who also found the file. Throughout the story, the group goes on many comedic adventures.
Todd Douglas is one of the people who found the file. However, unlike the others, he is a p…

I am proposing to add Opal Koboi from the Artemis Fowl series as Pure Evil. Technically she has the pure evil category, but I am trying to make her officially approved as Pure Evil.
Artemis Fowl is a science fantasy book series by Eoin Colfer. It is about a teenage criminal mastermind named Artemis Fowl. He goes into conflict with a group of supernatural races called "fairies". These fairies live underground to hide from humans. They have magic and are much more technologically advanced than humans. However, they are very small in number and therefore must hide from the humans. Artemis first kidnaps a fairy to get gold in order to save his father. However, he eventually redeems himself and works together with the fairies. Together, Artemis …
