Unforgiven, a 1992 revisionist Western directed by and starring Clint Eastwood which won the Oscar for Best Picture.
Actions[]
- Brutally abuses, tortures and/or imprisons those that do not follow his rule, even though it is merely having a gun and not committing a crime.
- After a cowboy scarred a prostitutes face and nearly killed her, he let them go scot free, selective enforcement based on his own unfounded spite and prejudices.
- Tied to prevent and punish anyone who tried to punish the said cowboys, even though it was justified.
- Encouraged the town curse the prostitutes names after they were avenged.
- Brutally tortured a man and beat him to death, killing him. While it wasn't intentional, he was very proud of what he did and put the body out on display to intimidate others.
Mitigating factors[]
- Does actions to prevent crime, even though he allows it when it happens to those he doesn't like, merely showing his hypocrisy.
