PE Reproposal: Megatronus Prime (RID 2015)
Wow, this really is a good month to be a TF fan. First Studio TRIGGER drops an absolute banger of a tribute that has literally brought me to tears, and Transformers One seems to be really doing well critically (am gonna see it later this week), which I will return on to comment when the 2 week period finished on the 4th if next month as my closer to the TF parade. But for now...
Okay, here is one that I look back and realize I was far too lenient on the initial proposal, as there are a lot of actual concerns the proposal just... brushes over and didn't bother to take into because of it's barebones nature. And a lot has to do with RID 2015's placement in the entire, wonky mess we call the "Aligned" continuity, in which it is undeniably a seque…
PE Proposal: Ultra Magnus (Shattered Glass 2021)
]]
Now that I have shattered everyone's heart and makes everyone doubt their own existence with getting Optimus Prime approved as Pure Evil, I have another candidate to discuss. While Optimus is initially the top dog of the work, he doesn't actually do much in the present. He is actually a Big Bad Wannabe at the story's end, the actual Big Bad is who I will discuss now. Let the trial commence.
- 1 What is the Work?
- 2 Who is Ultra Magnus? What Has he done?
- 3 Mitigating Factors
- 4 Heinous Standard
- 5 Final Verdict

PE Proposal: Optimus Prime
So first week of September.
This is going to be a special month as this September marks the 40th anniversary of the entire Transformers brand. This franchise means a lot to me. As while it has a handful of very notable duds, at the same time it has loads of incredibly entertaining and impactful forms of media I have experienced, as it's clear many times, the people working in many of the cartoons, games, and even to a certain extent, the movies, do care about what they are working on far more than just some soulless toy commercial and truly care on making it really good, and so has brought up many of my favourite shows, favourite arcs on comics, favourite characters (including favourite villains), favourite games. The TF brand, clearly has g…
PE Proposal: Rabban Harkonnen (2021 films)
- Note: This proposal only concerns the Dennis Villeneuve films, not the 1984 film by David Lynch or the OG novels. The latter versions do have a sporting chance for PE but haven't watched that film or the expanded universe books by Brian Herbert so they won't be concerned in this proposal.
So finally, I have managed to watch the 2 films people have been praising and hyping, and imo, it does deserve the hype as a duo of really epic movies. When it comes to it's chief villains, Feyd and the Emperor don't count and while the Baron Vladimir Harkonnen counts easily in these films, and could actually warrant a page as even beyond a significant change in his final fate, personality wise he is different from the books (far less jovial or hammy, more…
PE Proposal: Ganon (Yū Mishōzaki)
So we're halfway through August, and in event of the release of Echoes of Wisdom next month, which coincidentally is also occurring while I'm doing my Zelda marathon, I've got one surefire candidate from manga when all we had was just the NES games, in which from the various minimal clues we had, leads to a series whose Hyrule would be vastly different from what we will get used to for decades. The candidate in question. being the second most iconic Nintendo villain ever (take a freaking guess who the first is) We know the drill, let the trial commence.
