Mrs

No amount of elderly facade can hide the disgusting monster she truly is on the inside.

I don't think I'll ever look at bologna the same again...
~ Sal Fisher's description of Mrs. Packerton turning the kidnapped into bologna.

Initially, I mentioned that the Red-Eyed Demon was the final candidate I proposed in Sally Face. But suddenly, this character comes to my mind after going through her actions, despite only appearing in Episode 3 of the game, so I decide to propose this "nice" lady for this proposal.

With that being said, let's begin.

What's the Work?[]

Sally Face is a 2016 episodic indie video game, developed and published by Portable Moose, which consisted of five episodes that was released within 2016 to 2019.

The story follows Sal Fisher, a teenage boy with a face and a tragic past on him, where he and his father moved into the Addison Apartments in the American town of Nockfell. But soon after, sinister mysteries begin popping in and out of the Apartments and the town, which forces him to investigate what truly goes on, hidden within plain sight...

Who is She?/What She Has Done?[]

Mrs. Packerton is a minor antagonist in Sally Face, who appears in the game's third Episode, The Bologna Incident. She is the mathematics teacher of Nockfell High, as well as the teacher of Sal Fisher, and later revealed to be a member of the satanic cult known as The Devourers of God.

Prior to the events of the game, Mrs. Packerton was happily married to Mr. Packerton. However, it was soon revealed that she joined the Devourers of God as a devoted member and subsequently planned him to be used to further the cult's plans. After her husband was put in a vegetative state, due to an accident that presumably killed him, she later decided to restrain his dying husband to his own bed and put him on life support, as means to be used as a vessel for the Red-Eyed Demon.

When the infamous event known as the Bologna Incident happened, which came to light when extremely foul bologna was soon noticed by Sal Fisher and his friends, it was revealed that Mrs. Packerton kidnapped people, including Nockfell High students, for weeks prior to this event, and send them to her own apartment room, Room 201, in Addison Apartments by deboning their corpses, disposing their bones through the Cult's temple within the trash chute, and later use them as school's bologna meat.

However, when her plans were soon foiled by Sal and his group after they visited her apartment room, it was revealed that she was killed in an accident by a drunk driver the next day, but the clear circumstances regarding her were still unknown.

Heinous Standards[]

In spite of her having limited resources, as well as being a low-ranking member of the Devourers, Mrs. Packerton passes the heinous standards, where she utilises them to her advantage and makes it up for her sadistic actions by furthering the Devourers of God's plans. This includes her kidnapping people, even students from her own school, to turn them into school's bologna meat by deboning their corpses, which was later shown when Sal Fisher, Larry Johnson, and later Ashley Campbell discovered a fridge containing deboned corpses in her own apartment room, which traced the origins of the considerably foul-tasting bologna in Nockfell High to her.

She is also revealed to have put her dying husband on life support, which further shows that her "kindness" is a facade for the monster she is, given her past, as she plans him to be used as a vessel for the Red-Eyed Demon, which was quickly stopped by Sal and Larry.

Mitigating Factors[]

She has none to begin with. Mrs. Packerton has no moral agency issues, as she is aware of her actions. She has a kind and elderly facade as a math teacher who masks it within her true personality, which is her being a heartless and manipulative monster.

Sure, she may be caring towards her dying husband, but there are no indications that she truly cares for him. This is later shown, when Sal and Larry found out after they visited her apartment room in Addison Apartments, that Mrs. Packerton restrained his own dying husband to his bed and put him on life support, as means to use him as a vessel for the Red-Eyed Demon.

Verdict[]

Yes, but I'll leave you to vote.
