The big bad cat of the movie: Shere Khan (2016)
What has he done[]
- He killed Mowgli's father, leaving Mowgli orphaned.
- He kills Akela just so he could lure Mowgli to him.
- He vowed to kill everyone that swear their allegiance to Mowgli.
Mitigating factors[]
Even though his scarring was cold, still, he could've attacked Mowgli's father for sheer hate. We all have noticed how Shere Khan despise humans and just wouldn't accept them.
Heinous standard[]
Out of all the villains in the movie, Khan is visibly the worst; as Kaa only wanted to eat Mowgli out of hunger, Louie wanted to use him so he could take over the jungle. Khan, on other hand, simply wants to kill him out of hatred and will have no problem in killing animals allied to him and the ones that he once intimidated into standing by his side. He also enjoys Mowgli's suffering as he heartlessly gloats about the boy's father and Akela's deaths.
Final verdict[]
I feel that Shere Khan should be in the PE category for his tyrannical, sadistic and murderous personality and for many characters he killed and attempted to kill. My verdict is yes.
