This proposal is about the PE Removal of Blackmar, the evil prison warden from Dragon Quest VI. And after gaining the permission from an admin, lets start this proposal!
What is the work?[]
Dragon Quest VI is the sixth installment of the Dragon Quest series. In that game, there are two worlds, as known as the Dream World and Real World. However, there is a threat to these two worlds, so the heroes set on a journey to stop the threat
Who is Blackmar?[]
Blackmar is the prison warden in the Dread Realm, where the main antagonist, Mortamor is located. Blackmar seems to have a nasty habit of executing people from little to no reason. As shown when he is about to force a nun to marry him, he tried to have a opposer executed. As mentioned above, Blackmar tried to force a nun to marry him by having one of his minion possess her. However, before the possession can even start, the heroes confronted and defeated Blackmar.
Why he doesn't qualify?[]
First, Blackmar has little to no influence to the plot. He only appears when the player is in the Gallows Moor and only has a few dialogue. Thus his screen time can actually be shorter than 10 mins. And unlike Nimzo whose screen time is even shorter than Blackmar's, Blackmar doesn't push the storyline at all asides from giving the heroes experience points, while Nimzo is responsible for the crisis in the game he came from.
Secondly, Blackmar failed the heinous standard of DQ minions. As in the series, we got Bishop Ladja who enslaves children and even killed the hero's parents in front of him and Cardinal Sin, who lures adventurers to his so called 'town' where he forced them to fight each other in an arena, and will later kill the winner even though he promised the winner will be freed after winning the battle. As for Blackmar? Even though he is a horrifying prison warden, his body counts is seven, as I just checked, and his most heinous act is actually forcing a nun to marry him by having one of is minion to possess her.
Most Heinous Act[]
As mentioned above, it is forcing a nun to marry him by having a minion to possess her, which is also the reason why he got approved easily last time as Blackmar is the only Dragon Quest villain that did a forced marriage.
Final thoughts[]
It is actually very ironic that I am also the one who got Blackmar approved last time.
