Now I want to discuss with you about a very heinous Jojo villain we didn't talked much on this wiki. I want to discuss if he would clearly qualify as Pure Evil or not. Many people (also In-Universe) call him a monster or pure evil. Since I've now watched all 5 parts of the Jojo anime, I can understand why.
What has he done?[]
Yoshikage Kira is a serial killer who keeps his murderous personality in secret and wants to live a quite life. He killed about 48 women and cut their hands off, with which he does perverted and disgusting stuff. His first victim was the teenage girl Reimi Sugimoto which he killed 15 years before. He first gruesomely killed her dog by slitting his throat and then slit open her back and killed her. After Shigechi accidentally took his lunch bag instead of his real one, Kira followed him. When Shigechi find out who he is, Kira coldly killed him. When he faced and fought Jotaro and Koichi, he nearly killed the two. When he was uncovered he killed Kosaku Kawajiri and took his identity. When the son Hayato find out, Kira killed him, a 11-year old child. Also he screamed at his father and never thanked him for what he has done for him. He then revived Hayato and used him as a human bomb to lure Josuke and the others into a trap, killing them and restarting the day, causing Hayato to have a mental breakdown and nearly taking his own life. Kira destroyed many lives of innocent people and broke a 11-year old child, who was crying at the end because he killed his father.
MITIGATING FACTORS/NO SYMPATHY[]
None that I can think of. He did showed some care for Shinobu Kawajiri but that was implied to be only because he wanted her and his son to not figure out who he really is in reality. Also he killed his own father, it was an accident, but he still didn't cared about it. And his plan "to just life a quite life" isn't a mitigrating factor in my opinion.
HEINOUS STANDARD[]
It's really tricky because the heinous standard of the Jojo series is extremely high and there are plenty of vile and sadistic villains. But I think Kira could stand out in the ways that he is extremely personal and destroyed many innocent lives and had a remaining impact. Also that he will not hesitate to kill a 11-year old child and also did so. That is really the first time a Jojo villain outright kills a child, besides Dio who indirectly caused a mother to eat her own child and Cioccolata who seemingly killed a little girl with his mold. But still I think he could stand out because of his personal crimes and the psychological torture of his victims.
