This is a proposal for the Cruel Veterinarian from Courage the Cowardly Dog.
What's the Work? []
Courage the Cowardly Dog is about a dog named Courage who lives with an elderly couple named Eustace and Muriel Bagge after he was abandoned as a puppy. Throughout the show, Courage encounters all kinds of freaky villains to save his new family.
Who is he/What has he done?[]
Despite appearing in only one episode, the Cruel Vetenarian is the true evil of the entire Courage the Cowardly Dog show because he was the one who took Courage's parents away from him by sending them into space, which he does to all dogs he captures to breed them into super dogs against their will.
Character traits []
The Cruel Veteneraian is an insane, delusional and completely heartless old man who inhumanley experimnts on dogs and launches them into space, hoping to breed them into super dogs, this is however untrue because all the dogs he kidnaps, including Courage's real parents, gain no superpowers whatsoever.
Mitigating factors[]
The Cruel Vetenarian is always delusional because can't accept the fact that his research doesn't work. He only wants to keep experimenting on dogs to see if he can actually accomplish his work, which will never happen, not caring how this will affect other people, let alone other dogs.
Heionus standards[]
Out of all the show's villains, the Cruel Vetenerin is by far the most hateful because of what he did to Courge and how shattered it made him feel that he'll never see his real parents again. It's because of him that Courage is still left traumatized for life, even after defeting him and saving Eustace and Muriel.
Screen time[]
As stated in the first heading, he only appears in one episode but is the one responsible for sending Courage's parents into space and ruining Courage's life, even though he lives happily with Muriel.
Conclusion[]
We all know Courage losing his parents made us sad and being one of the most tragic moments in cartoon history, but I'm super positive the Cruel Vetenarian is pure evil because of the horrible things he did. I'm glad the dogs he sent into space, including Courage's mom and dad, got their revenge on him. They didn't kill him, but he got his just desserts anyway.
