Ushimatsu Kamono is the secondary antagonist of episodes 5 and 6 of Robot Detective.
Biography[]
Ushimatsu Kamono was once a phantom thief known as "Matsu the No-Lock" for his lock-picking skills. He was eventually caught and arrested by Detective Shiba. While in prison, Ushimatsu had to have his hand amputated due to illness, leaving him unable to resume his heists once he got out.
Though promising to his daughter he would give up his thieving ways, Ushimatsu still desired to get his hands on jewelry and thus contracted BAD and rented the robot Nanatsuman to steal jewelry for him. After receiving several stolen jewels from the robot, Ushimatsu eventually set his eyes on the Blue Moon crown. It was around this time however that the police caught onto Ushimatsu's involvement in the crimes and went to his home, forcing him to flee.
Ushimatsu and his assistant later went to steal the crown but intentionally got themselves caught to lower the museum guard so Nanatsu could sneak in and grab it. Nanatsu successfully stole the crown but was destroyed by K. However, Kawashiman was able to defeat K and made off with the crown before busting Ushimatsu. At an isolated spot, the BAD Leader discussed payment with Ushimatsu via speaker and demanded a cut of the jewels in the crown as payment. Ushimatsu refused and promised to steal the money needed to pay BAD, but the BAD Leader demanded the money at that moment. Ushimatsu and his assistant then attempted to flee but were chased down by Kawashiman. It was at that moment that a rebuilt K arrived and fought Kawashiman off, enabling Ushimatsu to be arrested and taken into police custody.
Kawashiman eventually tracked Ushimatsu to an abandoned building and attempted to kill him for refusing to pay BAD. However, the Killer Robot was destroyed by K. His life having been saved by Detective Shiba, Ushimatsu showed the police the hiding spot of the crown out of gratefulness before being taken away to prison again.
