Vaccine Man is a minor antagonist of One-Punch Man. He is the very first villain Saitama faces in the series, and is said to be a dragon-level threat. Formed from the pollution on Earth, Vaccine Man is determined to extinguish humanity's existence.
He was voiced by Ryūsei Nakao (who also voiced Frieza in the Dragon Ball franchise, Caesar Clown in One Piece, Mayuri Kurotsuchi in Bleach, and Agent Abrella in Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger) in Japanese and Christopher Sabat (who also voiced Vegeta and Piccolo in the Dragon Ball franchise) in English.
Appearance[]
Vaccine Man appears as a regular yet muscular purple humanoid figure. He is 2 meters (6'7") tall, has two antennae on his forehead, and veins across his entire body.
In his enhanced form, he gains spikes all over his body, sharp, long teeth, and claws. His size also increases to great heights, becoming 18 meters (59'1") tall.
Biography[]
Introduction Saga[]
Vaccine Man shows up near City A and causes mass destruction to the city with his powers. To defeat Vaccine Man, the heros Lightning Max and Smile Man were sent to him, but they were defeated easily. Later, he sees a schoolgirl crying and tries to grab her and crush her, but Saitama quickly shows up and saves the kid. Vaccine Man starts explaining his mission, claiming he was born from the desires of Mother Earth, a single living organism, and that humans are a disease which is killing the planet and must be eradicated. He gets enraged when Saitama tells him he is a hero for fun, transforming into a more demonic form and attacking Saitama, who easily destroys him with a single punch.
