Valentine's Subordinates are the main antagonists of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Part VII: Steel Ball Run.
they are organization of Government employees and Assassins that wield Stands, hired or chosen by Valentine to go about collecting all the nine of Jesus Christs corpse parts to reassemble for America's gain, killing anyone that gets in the way.
Background[]
During the American Civil War, Funny Valentine served as a soldier fighting for the Union where his his unit, the 26th Calvary Unit, went missing in the Arizona desert while training. While the whole unit died out due to exhaustion and dehydration. Valentine unknowingly collapsed upon the Saints corpse's Heart giving him energy necessary to survive and be rescued. He attributed his rescue to the Corpse's Heart and set out to find the remaining pieces.
History[]
In 1889 Funny Valentine was elected the 23rd president of the United States and began forming his cabinet of stand users starting with his bodyguard Mike O., and began to enact his plan for a search for the rest of the nine other corpse parts deducing they were on the marked locations of using Joseph of Armathea's map. To do so he became a major financial backer of Steven Steels cross country race to plot out the stages unbeknownst to him. In 1890 Valentine and his cabinet members send Oyecomova and the Boomboom Family loose in the race to find the corpse parts or kill anyone who comes across it first which begins the first of many conflicts with the two racers Johnny Joestar and Gyro Zeppeli who come across the left arm of the corpse. Following his subordinates failures to gather the parts from Johnny he sends Pork Pie Hat Kid and Dr. Ferdinand to retrieve them next but the former is defeated swiftly and the latter is killed with his stand ability being taken by Diego Brando.
Later in the race Ringo Roadagain is given orders to report Johnny and Gyro's locations corpse parts back to Valentine, During a duel to the death with Gyro , Ringo succeeds in delivering the intel via pigeon carrier. In Kansas city Valentine and Blackmore nearly obtain the message until it is intercepted by Lucy Steel and Mountain Tim. After Blackmore is killed by Gyro, Sandman makes a deal with Valentine that he will retrieve the corpse parts for him in return for getting the rights for his peoples land in Arazona desert, he is then paired up with Diego to kill Johnny and Gyro and retrieve their corpse parts. During a brutal fight between the stand users, Sandman succumbs to his injuries and dies while Diego abandons him to continue the race. Some time passes and Valentine sends the Eleven Men after the duo but all but one of them return back with some of the corpse parts alive. Wekapipo and Magent Magent are the next Assassins sent to dispose of Johnny and Gyro but Wekapipo eventually deserts him and allies with the duo instead. During a scuffle in one of Valentines residence's his wife Scarlet Valentine and their bodyguard Mike O. attempt to kill Lucy Steel while she introduces but are killed by an ally of Lucy's while she assumes the identity of Scarlet. Eventually Axl RO completes most of the Saint's corpse after taking them from Johnny but he is killed by Valentine for outliving his usefulness.
Valentine decides to dispose of Johnny, Diego, and Wekapipo in one fell swoop but is forced to retreat and his appointed assassin D-I-S-C-O is defeated by Gyro. In a long battle onboard a train heading to New York, Valentine succeeds in killing Diego, Hot Pants, and Gyro later appoints an Parralel version of Diego, to kill Johnny and Steven Steel as well as sealing the completed corpse deep in a New York church. Valentine is ultimately executed by Johnny and the Parallel Diego by Lucy effectively putting an end to the organization, the three survivors ultimately decide to let the corpse be sealed in the church for safety with the actions of Valentine left unknown to the wider public.
