Biography[]
Season 1[]
In 1867, the inhabitants of the nearby town of Mystic Falls became aware of the existence of vampires, abominable and destructive beings. In response, the founders' council, together with the townspeople, decided to take drastic measures. They locked the vampires in a church and set it on fire, believing that this would get rid of them forever.
What they didn't know, however, was that a witch named Emily had cast a powerful spell to save vampires from fire. Although she managed to prevent them from being consumed in the flames, she was unable to free them from her prison. As a result, the vampires were trapped and doomed to remain locked up for millennia.
In the present, the vampires locked in the Mystic Falls church managed to be released thanks to the help of two witches of the Bennett lineage: Mrs. Sheila Bennett and her granddaughter Bonnie. However, gratitude was not the predominant sentiment among the released vampires. Instead, they quickly escaped and began their sinister plan to take over the town of Mystic Falls and make its inhabitants suffer.
Led by a girl named Pearl, vengeful vampires banded together and wreaked havoc on Mystic Falls. Using their cunning and supernatural powers, they sought to subdue the inhabitants and plunge the town into darkness.
Ultimately, the vampires' plan to conquer Mystic Falls was successfully thwarted by the arrival of a hunter named John Gilbert. Determined to protect the town from him, John bravely faced the vampires and managed to get rid of them all.
