The Vampiric Jackalope are minor antagonists in the first arc of the My Little Pony :Friendship is Magic comic series The Return of Queen Chrysalis.
Role in the Comics
Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie find themselves in an open feild surrounded by Jackalopes and Pinkie admires how "Squishy-wishy." They are as Rainbow Dash tells them that she needs some compfort space away from them and that they need to go as then one of them bites Pinkie's leg as they realise that they are vampiric creatures as then Dash grabs Pinkie and flys off as then down from the sky are Rarity and Applejack on magical plants. They then crash into each other and get up and run from the Jackalopes as then they crash into Twilight Sparkle and Fluttershy which were being chased by the Chupacabra and go rolling down a cliff. as they hit the bottom they look up at the Jackalopes and Chupacabra as then they start fighting, Fluttershy says that they are natural enimies and that they are fighting over who has the dominance over who has the rights to eat them, as they look up in shock and horror as Fluttershy smiles and says "Nature is so fascinating."

- Even though they are vampiric in the comics, Jackalopes are creatures from North American folklore.
