The Vancouver Coffee Barista, also known as the Coffee Guy, Das Coffee Haus owner, and other various names, is a one-time villain in Totally Spies in the episode called, "Evil Coffee Shop Much?".
Das Coffee Haus, a brand new, upscale coffeehouse chain, opens its doors and becomes incredibly popular overnight. The chain's signature treat is a dip in the "Perkolator 9000", a machine that submerges patrons in a full-bodied coffee bath.
When perky patrons are suddenly reported missing, Jerry sends the girls in to investigate. What they discover is an evil barista brewing up a mighty revenge from his underground beanery/lair.
He was voiced by Dwayne Hill.
Personality[]
He is very uncaring, bitter and psychotic. He hates being rejected and has no mercy. He just laughs and gloats after trying to drown the girls, and tried to flood Vancouver just so "his place would be noticed", further justifying his insanity.
Physical Appearance[]
He has pale skin, black hair and eyes that look like they will pop out at any second. He appears to be in his 50s due to the wrinkles on his face.
Biography[]
In the episode, "Evil Coffee Shop Much?" The Coffee Guy was first seen when Sam was investigating the coffee shop's underground trap door. He reveals his gadget known as the "Perkolator 9000". The Coffee Guy then proceeds to push Sam into the hot scalding coffee pool. He reappears with his coworkers and then kicks Clover, Alex and Mandy out of the underground passage as soon as the girls discover that Sam's headphone communicator was charred by the strong coffee.
The girls return to the coffee shop and get inside the coffee pool to find Sam. When they do, they get sucked into the coffee shop's warehouse where they find Sam, along with other college students assisting the Coffee Guy's tasks. Luckily, Clover and Alex find Sam, but thanks to Mandy's foolishness she found an escape route which set off the alarms resulting in the barista and his colleagues finding them after a brief brawl.
He reveals his plot which lies with flooding the world with his hypnotizing coffee to turn everybody into his slavishly loyal customers. Coffee Guy expresses his anger stemming from a rejection from a previous job application, and strongly feels that he deserves it as he knows so much about coffee. Having had enough, he wastes no time attempting to kill Mandy, Alex and Clover by tying them up, trying to get them to fall towards his brainwashing induced coffee, and then starts to use his machine to flood British Columbia with his coffee. Thankfully, the girls escape and save Sam as Coffee Guy's colleagues wrestle the girls again as Alex pushes the lever to prevent any more coffee from flooding. Clover fights him until she stops him by pressing the off button on her jetpack, thus making him fall down from the heaviness, leading to his narrow demise. He is then arrested by WHOOP agents offscreen.
