Vault Boy, sometimes called Vault Man is a major character in the Fallout franchise.
He is both the mascot of Fallout franchise and in-game company Vault-Tec. Across almost all promotional material and much of Vault-Tec's in-game instructional material, Vault Boy demonstrates the dos and don'ts of wasteland survival, many circumstances of which show him being incredibly violent, murderous and ruthless to survive in the wasteland.
After Cooper Howard or Vault-Tec itself severed ties, Vault-Tec creates Vault Boy as a replacement. After creation of Vault Boy, Vault Boy often appeared in cross-promotions woth other products such as Pip-Boy computers and holotape game.
