Velzard is a major character of the That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime franchise.
She is the second oldest True Dragon, the younger sister of Veldanava and older sister of Veldora Tempest, Velgrynd and Rimuru Tempest, who is the most recent True Dragon.
She is voiced by Yuka Iguchi in Japanese and AmaLee in English.
Appearance[]
In her concealed form Velzard takes the form of a teenager similar to niece Milim Nava, she has with blue eyes, white hair, two small twin tails, a blue and white dress, pair blue boots with white on it.
When she needs to get serious she changes her appearance as she wears a black dress, now has voluminous appearance and her eyes are now yellow much like her siblings.
Her dragon form is similar to Veldora’s with white crystal skin and blue scales and has golden scale on head similar to her head piece of her human forms.
Personality[]
She has calm and polite personality, sometimes teasing prideful. and playful similar to Veldora. Though she more serious and less impulsive than Veldora due to her being older and mature. However she also got a very envious personality as she got jealous of other females around Guy Crimson or when her brother Veldanava gave more attention to Guy than her.
She also can be very too harsh in terms of punishment as she went far as to kill Veldora multiple times in order to have him reincarnated in more mature and competent incarnation for his destructive rampages prior to the events of the series which only made him fear her. Though when she visit Tempest and talked with Rimuru she felt some remorse for those actions.
She usually doesn't care in events of the world happening and rarely goes outside the Frost Palace unless something interests her.
Biography[]
Velzard was second born True Dragon after her brother Veldanava being based on cold and deceleration 20,000 years ago. During her younger days she clashed with Guy Crimson due to her being jealous of him receiving more attention from her brother then she did, their fight ended up being intense where it changed the axis of the planet where they fought became the north pole now. The two eventually became equal partners and respected one living in the Frozen Palace. She also gain a rivalry with her older sister Velgrynd due to Guy and her brother in law Rudra Nam Ul Nasca's rivalry.
When Veldora was born 2.000 years ago due to his rampages she kills and torture him repeatedly to hopefully have his reincarnation be more behaved with only made him to fear her. When he was sealed away in Unlimited Imprisonment she decided to keep him trap so he hopefully learn and break him free at last second before he die though never came due to Rimuru freeing him instead.
Trivia[]
- She is the oldest living True Dragon (Not counting Veldanava since he is dead currently), she is also first female True Dragon in the series.
- In ISEKAI Memories in a Norse Mythology themed event Veldora ends up comparing her to Loki due to her personality.
- Velzard could have better ways of expressing her frustrations and bottled up feelings to Guy Crimson than betraying him to get his attention.
