“ | I know what you have been telling the others. You mouth the word "cult," and repeat lies the Chantry has been spewing at us for a thousand years. Look around you, my friend. See what mighty Tevinter is today: A once-proud nation brought low, barely able to hold itself against the oxmen. We neutered our mages at the behest of a foreign religion, exalted their false Maker, and became the laughing stock of all Thedas. Now we have the chance to reclaim what is rightfully ours, but only if we act. We cannot wait to see which way the wind is blowing---we must MAKE it blow.
The Venatori are hunters, recruited in secret over several years. We will descend with deadly purpose, to spill the blood of the South and make it ripe for conquest; when we return to our homeland it will be as victors, with a new god as our patron. Then the cowards who refused to aid us will know their mistake in full. ---Reported as evidence to the Vyrantium Circle of Magi, Dragon 9:40 |

The Venatori are an evil organization and the main antagonistic faction in Dragon Age: Inquisition.
Overview[]
They are a Tevinter nationalist group that wishes the land of Tevinter returns to its former glory when the whole continent of Thedas was under their rule. When Corypheus found them and introduced himself as a magister of old they began to serve him. As they worship him as a god they eventually became a sect and under his command they gathered resources to conquer the world for him.
Calpernia is their leader who buys and captures slaves to recruit them. In the events of Inquisition, the majority of the organization's enlisted men, the gladiators, brutes and zealots, are slaves, wearing helmets with padlocks.
Gereon Alexius try to recruit rebel mages to their ranks but the Inquisitor can prevent it.
Livius Erimond brainwashed grey wardens and tries to use them to bring Nightmare Demon to Thedas.
Between 9 and 10 years after the events of the Breach, the Venatori Cult is still present in the empire of Tevinter. Following the disappearance of Corypheus, the Venatori have decided to worship the last two Old Gods that remain from the ancient pantheon of Tevinter: Razikale, the Dragon of Mysteries, and Lusacan, the Dragon of Night. The cult is supported by a large number of Magisters and no longer employs slaves as soldiers. Its members have also changed their uniforms to black and red, and mainly use long swords, shields, spears and sickles, not to mention the many mages in their ranks. Although their existence is common knowledge, and their cult has not been approved by Archon Radonis, their support within the Magisterium gives them enough influence not to be officially worried, even by the Imperial Templars, who are also controlled by their supporters. They are one of the main antagonistic organisations in the game ‘Dragon Age: The Veilguard’, along with the Qunari Antaam.
