Vendor is the secondary antagonist of Stage 2 of the Dan the Man web series, and a supporting character in the video game adaptation.
He is a merchant who runs the shops called "Ye Olde Shoppe", recurringly seen while offering and selling items, such as weapons, healing items and powerups.

After rescuing the Princess, Dan took her to buy a car. He first encountered the Vendor outside the shop, who greeted him upon arrival. Dan, uninterested, punched the Vendor aside as he and the Princess entered to purchase a red car.
The next day, Dan attempted to buy a ring for 800 coins but didn’t have enough money. As he was about to leave, the Vendor caught up to him and convinced him to use a pump to generate coins for the rest of the evening. By the following day, Dan had earned enough and successfully purchased the ring.
Later, the Vendor was seen dropping the Princess off at Dan’s new luxurious home via helicopter. She soon requested a Pink Dog, but Dan couldn’t afford it as it cost 2,999 coins. The Vendor then handed Dan a credit card, enabling him to buy the dog. Unknowingly, Dan and the Princess continued making excessive purchases, leading him into overwhelming debt. Eventually, IRS agents arrived at his home, repossessing everything. As a result, the Princess broke up with Dan.
Later, Dan caught the Princess kissing the Vendor, leading to a brawl between the two men. In the midst of the fight, the Princess called for a helicopter, and she and the Vendor climbed aboard. As the battle continued, the Vendor landed more punches on Dan. Frustrated by the Pink Dog’s constant presence, Dan kicked it into the tail rotor, causing the helicopter to crash and killing everyone on board, triggering a reset.
Upon restarting, Dan once again met the Vendor after defeating the robot. However, instead of repeating his past mistakes, he handed over the Key. Overjoyed, the Vendor ran off with it, and the stage concluded.

While Vendor has no major role, he frequently appears when the player enters a shop and buy any powerups, weapons or healing items.
