~ Venom to Spider-Man.
Venom is one of the two main antagonists (alongside Norman Osborn) in the 2017 animated TV series Marvel's Spider-Man.
It is a member of the Klyntar race who was created for the purpose of helping its people conquer other worlds, eventually crash-landing onto Earth and becoming one of the archenemies of the crime-fighter Spider-Man.
The Venom symbiote appears to be very possessive of its hosts and tends to put up a fight when they try to reject it, although it is not above abandoning its hosts without an iota of remorse after their use to it ends.
It is also vengeful and vindictive, as its primary motivation is to get revenge against its former hosts Peter Parker and Flash Thompson for rejecting it and against Horizon High for experimenting on it, taking sadistic pleasure in doing so.
While Venom is loyal to its fellow symbiotes, it is willing to ignore their orders to pursue its own agenda, i.e. its vendetta against Spider-Man.
Appearance[]
The Venom symbiote initially appeared as a black, semi-solid liquid. After bonding with Spider-Man, it formed a black bodysuit with white eyespots, white markings on the wrists and the soles of his feet, and large white spider emblems on the chest and back.
After bonding with Flash Thompson, Venom adopted a bulkier appearance featuring a wicked grin filled with sharp teeth, as well as a long tongue and white claws on its hands. It shared these features with its subsequent hosts.
After it evolved to move on its own, the symbiote now appears as a large black mass with eyespots and fangs on the head and clawed arms that are skeletal in appearance. It retains the spider emblems on its body. Then while controlling Max and have the symbol with His original Form and White strips over his arms and Stomach.
Biography[]
Past[]
“
I was designed to help plunge this universe into darkness and that's what I did. Like the long gone creator of the Klyntar, I help darken the cosmos. I led my people to so many planets, moons, anything in our way to become ours. I perfected my techniques and found so many perfect homes for my family to conquer.

The Klyntar that would later be known as Venom was created by Scream, Scorn, and Mania from the remains of their fallen sister All-Black to help their race conquer other planets, serving as their greatest warrior and invading planet after planet before reaching Earth.
Season 1[]
“
The Spider-Man! I sensed his power. His purpose. I even attempted to bond with him. BUT HE REJECTED ME!

Discovered by NASA and donated to Horizon High, the symbiote was named "V-252" by the school's headmaster Max Modell and eventually happened upon Peter Parker, secretly the vigilante Spider-Man, who would become its first human host as it was drawn to his power. The symbiote began to corrupt Peter and make him more aggressive, prompting him to remove it.
The symbiote, dubbed "Venom" by Spider-Man, took over Midtown High School student Flash Thompson and used his body to rampage throughout the city before being removed and recontained by the hero, the ordeal traumatizing Flash.
Season 2[]
The symbiote eventually escaped containment and bonded to disgruntled Daily Bugle reporter Eddie Brock getting their revenge on spiderman and the new Venom terrorized Peter by kidnapping his loved ones and trying to expose his identity to J. Jonah Jameson, but they were defeated and placed into stasis, the symbiote still attached to Brock.
Evolving to the point of no longer needing a host, Venom eventually abandoned Eddie and tracked down Spider-Man to Midtown High, where it took Flash and teacher Anna Maria Marconi hostage. However, Venom realized that Otto Octavius was inhabiting Peter's body by interfacing with his memories and dismissed him as a fraud, continuing to demand the "real" Spider-Man and threaten his hostages. When Peter returned to his body, Venom was tricked into trying to bond with him and seemingly killed in an electric shock created by Anna Maria.
Season 3[]
However, Venom survived and found its way back into Horizon, being used as the basis for a synthetic symbiote created by Max before escaping and bonding to Curt Connors, whom it abandoned after absorbing its artificial copy. Venom, intent on completing his original goal of leading the Klyntar to Earth, used a symbiote seed to signal an invasion force to Earth before being seemingly destroyed by Spider-Man. Part of the symbiote remained on the seed and through it, possessed Max to use him to build a portal to the Klyntar homeworld. Once the portal was completed, Venom revealed itself and allowed his older sisters to go through the portal before returning to the planet, intent on feeding the seed to a powerful symbiote called the World-Killer so that it may destroy Earth, succeeding in delivering the seed despite being opposed by Spider-Man once again. However, Spider-Man got through to Max and allowed him to assert control over Venom, with it and the other symbiotes dying as the two destroyed the seed.
Trivia[]
This is the first version of the Venom symbiote in Spider-Man media to be able to speak without a host.
It is also the only animated incarnation of Venom to die in its respective series.
