Vernossiel is a minor antagonist in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. She is the leader of her Scioa'tael subgroup attacking Redanian caravans in Velen.
Biography[]
Vernossiel As an elf, she probably joined the Vrihhed brigade because she fought with a blade belonging to this brigade. What's more, the Elf likes to hide in the forest in order to engage her companions in the fight against the enemies.
When the Third Northern War began, the King of Redania, Radovid V, ordered his men to help his colleagues in Redania fight against Nilfgaard. Vernossiel's guerrillas began attacking Redanian caravans by setting traps, effectively disabling many of the transporters from reaching their destination. Some time later, the elf accidentally met the Ophir sorceress Radeyah in her camp, who was performing a magical ritual. When the sorceress saw Vernossiel, the elf decided to attack her, but the sorceress surprised the elf, defeated her without any problems, and then let her go.
After Vernossiel's commando kept attacking the Redanian caravans, they secretly believed they were being attacked by some monster, so they put out orders to get rid of the alleged monster. While exploring Velen, Geralt found a cure for an alleged monster that was attacking caravans in Velen, and when Geralt found a contractor named Felix Grubb, he accepted the cure to be able to get rid of the alleged monster.
While searching for an alleged monster attacking caravans in Velen, the witcher found one of the caravans where people were killed by arrows. What's more, Geralt noticed traces, so he followed their trail to the north-eastern inn at Crossroads. There, he confronted Scoia'tael militiamen, aiming his bow at Geralt and threatening him that if he did not disarm, they would kill him.
Depending on the player's decision, if we give the swords to the Scoia'tael elves, Geralt is taken to the camp where he could meet the face of Vernossiel. Geralt, surprised that they were elves and not beasts, attacked the cavarans, to which Vernossiel explains to Geralt that they deserved it because they persecuted non-humans and will continue to steal food and weapons to survive. If we do not give the weapons to the elves, they declared that they would not allow Geralt to enter their camp with weapons, then he called the rest of the commando, along with Vernossiel, to kill Geralt, but after they attacked Geralt, they died.
