Veronica Crabtree, more commonly known as Mrs. Crabtree, is a supporting antagonist in the adult animated sitcom South Park.
She was an ugly, fat, rogue, aggressive and hot-tempered old shrew who serves as the corrupt and oppressive South Park Elementary School bus driver who torments the children (including the South Park's Boys). She was known as a "fat b*tch" by Stan Marsh for her ugly appearance and her bad behavior until she was killed by Michael Deets.
She voiced by Eliza J. Schneider, Karri Turner in the pilot and Mary Kay Bergman during the Season 1 until the Season 3.
Biography[]
Mrs. Crabtree is a corrupt, ugly, careless and fat bus driver who loves harassing children (including the Boys), and killing bunnies. In episode “Fat Camp”, she pushes Kenny from her womb. She was insulted by Stan, Chef or Kyle (who always calls her a "fat b*tch", ugly stank, fat ugly b*tch, old dried-up, fat hog or big fat smelly b*tches).
Apperance[]
Ms. Crabtree is an old and ugly fat woman which she is described by Stan as a "fat b*tch", Chef as an "old dried-up, fat hog" and Kyle as an "big fat smelly bitches". She has a brown messy hair. Unlike other characters in the South Park franchise, she has yellow teeth. She wore a blue sweater and green pants. She has a bird on her head.
Personality[]
| “ | Her name is... Veronica Crabtree, bus driver for the elementary school. She was considered an ancillary character, one the fans wouldn't miss much. | „ |
| ~ Murphy describing Mrs. Crabtree's nature to Harrison Yates. |
Mrs. Crabtree is a mad, psychopathic, psychotic, cruel, insane, misunderstood, arrogant, rude, toxic, hypocritical, careless, inattentive, hot-tempered, delusional and paranoid old shrew who serve as an oppressive, strict, harsh, disciplinarian, stern and abusive control freak who doesn’t care about anyone except the bus and Mr. Garrison.
She gets offended by those who are insulting her like Stan Marsh (who calls her a "fat b*tch", "fat ugly b*tch" and "ugly skank"), Chef (who calls her a "old, dried-up, fat hog") and Kyle (who calls her as a "big, fat, smelly b*tches"). But easily forget about it when they made up a lie.
She is sadistic when she enjoys tormenting the kids (including the Boys) and according to Stan, she's not good and can be very harsh.
Despite her hot-tempered and hypocritical nature, Mrs. Crabtree is not a very good bus driver, despite her strict, harsh and severe nature, she leaves the children (including the South Park's Boys) lost in the bus in order to have them devoured by the Big Black Scary Monster to put them in danger, as for example in the episode "City on the Edge of Foverer" where she crosses the Moral Event Horizon where she forgets to seek help to save the children (including the South Park's Boys). This is probably the worst mistake Mrs. Crabtree has ever made that she will pay for with her life.
Sexual Behavior[]
In some episodes she takes part in sexual intercourse with many people, such as Mr. Garrison and Chef and cares about the sex and not them.
Death[]
In the episode Cartman's Incredible Gift, for unknown reasons, Mrs. Crabtree is murdered by the serial killer Michael Deets by cutting off her left hand.

Trivia[]
- At the same reviews as Sheila Broflovski, the Stotch Family such as Stephen and Linda Stotch, Scott Tenorman, the Veritzen's Tolerance Camp Warden or even PC Principal, Mrs. Crabtree is considered as one of the most hated characters of the animated series. Although the episode "City on the Edge of Forever" (also known as "Flashback") is considered one of the worst examples by crossing the Moral Event Horizon by threatening to kill the rabbit and leaving children lost on the bus (including the South Park's Boys) to be devoured by the Big Black Scary Monster instead of seeking help, while this event seen throughout this episode was nothing more than a Stan's dream. We'll have to wait for the episode "Cartman’s Incredible Gift" where she is killed by Michael Deets before Jose Venezuela takes over to be friendly to all the children of South Park on the bus (including the South Park's Boys).
- However, if South Park Elementary's school staff recognized Mrs. Crabtree's shady actions that she did in a cruel manner with the children (including the South Park's Boys) of South Park, she could have been fired for harming the children of South Park (including the South Park's Boys) for any class and find a friendly bus driver than Mrs. Crabtree to replace her for good. But since Mrs. Crabtree is killed by Michael Deets as a well-deserved death, it might have some relief to put an end to this bus driver's abusive madness.
- However, there is an unnamed protagonist called the Unnamed Bus Driver, she replaces Jose Venezuela and she is more considered an heroic counterpart of Veronica Crabtree.

- Despite the airing of the episode "Simpsons Already Did It", Mrs. Crabtree is considered as an evil counterpart to Otto Mann from The Simpsons franchise, due to removing many positive traits from a school bus driver stereotype, making Mrs. Crabtree more cruel, wicked and hated :
- In The Simpsons, Otto Mann doesn't say anything when the kids get agitated on the bus (especially as long as he listens to music so he can be quiet); In South Park, Mrs. Crabtree scolds the restless children by harassing them on the bus in order to abuse them.
- In The Simpsons, Otto Mann respects people with joy and kindness; In South Park, Mrs. Crabtree abuses people in a rude and angry manner.
- In The Simpsons, Otto Mann is a friendly and younger teenager who respects Bart and Lisa; In South Park, Mrs. Crabtree is a mad and hated old shrew who gets insulted by Stan and Kyle after yelling at them.
- In The Simpsons, Otto Mann trying to organizes to find help to rescue the children; In South Park, Mrs. Crabtree leaves the children in danger stuck on the bus in order to keep them confined.
- In The Simpsons, Otto Mann is still alive; In South Park, Mrs. Crabtree died killed by Michael Deets by cutting off her left hand.
- Despite her death during the events of "Cartman's Incredible Gift", it is unknown how Mrs. Crabtree was sent to Hell after her death, though it could be considered a well-deserved punishment for her, given that she harmed all the children (including the South Park's Boys) at South Park Elementary and thus in the episode "City on the Edge of Forever".
- However, in the episode "Cartman's Incredible Gift", while Cartman attempts to find the culprit for the victims killed across the town of South Park, Stan, Kyle, and Kenny never react to Mrs. Crabtree's death, however, they consider her as a well-reserved death.
- Stan Marsh (the main protagonist of the South Park franchise) is the child who insulted Mrs. Crabtree the most, while others like Chef or Kyle only insulted her once.
- Chef is the only adult in the South Park franchise to have insulted Mrs. Crabtree, while Stan and Kyle are the only two children to have insulted her the most (Stan multiple times and Kyle only once).
