“ | Travis: Why?! Greg: Because when I'm President, I can't have pests like you trying to preach that the world is alive! You're an idealistic fool! The world is not conscious, we are conscious! If the world was alive, it would feel this! |

~ The Vice President before shooting at Clyde's head. |
Vice President Greg is a minor antagonist from South Park and is the main antagonist of the episode Lice Capades. He was the Vice President of the Lice Colony that lived in Clydes head which was hit with a series of disasters. After another lice named Travis Mayfield took control of the remainder of the colony in attempt to save them, the Vice President attempted to assassinate him.
He is voiced by Matt Stone, co-creator of the show. Matt Stone voices many other villains, including Manbearpig, Craig Tucker, and the Crab People.
Personality[]
Greg was seen as incompetent and arrogant, not willing to listen to Travis even though he knew the truth about the environment. Being elderly, he used older phrases such as "poppycock" to refer to Travis' ideas. Greg seemed to be motivated by money, shooting down Travis' evacuation idea because of the thought of how much money would be lost.
After losing control of the colony, the Vice President demonstrated that he would do whatever it took to regain it, which included attempting to murder Travis. It appeared that he had little care for the wellbeing of the other lice, as he was willing to keep them in an area shown to be highly dangerous.
Biography[]
The Vice President was first seen with the President after Travis came to warn them about the environment. Greg dismissed his ideas as idiotic, and when Travis suggested evacuation, Greg became angry. He then had the guards escort Travis away from them. The Vice President was seen again after all of the disasters occurred, revealing himself to have been one of the few that had survived. Travis pinned him against a tree and blamed him for everything that had occurred. After this, Travis began ordering the other lice around, making the Vice President angry.
Travis eventually suggested that he go to the outskirts in order to find alternative options for homes. The Vice President said that he would go with Travis and another woman that volunteered, and although at first he was met with a negative response, they eventually agreed. The Vice President secretly concealed a gun that he planned to use to kill Travis. Once making it to the outskirts, he asked Travis what he wanted to do, and Travis revealed he wanted to move to another world. The female accomplice began to fall in love with Travis, and just as the two began talking about their feelings, the Vice President shot her. He then pointed the gun at Travis and demanded he start walking.
He had Travis walk farther out to the outskirts where he shot him in the legs. He then began monologging about how the world isn't alive and how Travis is just delusional. He attempted to prove this by firing at the ground. This caused Clyde to pick him up and flick him away.
