Vidian, also known as Daivin the Adventurer and Lord of Envy, is an antagonist in Diablo III. He was a former member of Sin Lieutenants and a leader of Blood Cult, responsible for mass murder of Nephalem children.

Biography

Vidian used to be a member of Azmodan's Sin Lieutenants, representing Envy. He didn't like his master and most of the time he did nothing. Despite that, he was quite powerful - he was able to turn many angels against themselves and win the whole battle alone.

After leaving Sin Lieutenants, he created Blood Cult, which he send to kill Nephalem children. He was also trying to kill The Nephalem, but was slain instead.

Trivia

• Vidian's name comes from Latin invidia, which means "envy". Also, his alias "Daivin", is an anagram from "Vidian".
• Vidian was probably the most powerful of Sin Lieutenants.
