“ | I didn't always do this. There was a time I was honestly pretty much without direction, but then I met him, Peacemaker, the scourge of war, the bright beacon of pacifism, and from that moment on I had a best friend, and a partner in the never-ending battle against evil. | „ |

Adrian Chase, best known as Vigilante, is a supporting character in Season 2 of the 2025 DC Universe streaming series Peacemaker.
Vigilante appeared in an apocalyptic vision of Circe in Creature Commandos, and an alternate version within the DCU debuted in his own comic; Peacemaker Presents: The Vigilante/Eagly Double-Feature.
He is a busboy by day and a sadistic crime fighter at night, as well as an avid fan of Peacemaker, even joining him in an iteration of Task Force X to stop an invasion of aliens (as mentioned by John Economos in Creature Commandos).
He will be portrayed by Freddie Stroma, who also played his DCEU counterpart and Cormac McLaggen in the Harry Potter franchise.

Vigilante's fate in Circe's vision
At some point, the amazonian sorceress Circe had a vision from a dark future where the Pokolistani princess Ilana Rostovic and Gorilla Grodd used their army of Amethyst Knights to conquer the world, slaughtering and impaling Vigilante along with countless heroes and causing a genocide in the process. However, this was prevented when the Bride of Frankenstein killed Ilana in revenge.

Adrian Chase is enthusiastic to help others and sadistically loves violence. He isn't very intelligent, but he ultimately wants to make friends, reaching the point of considering Christopher Smith as his best friend due to the admiration that Chase has for him. Underneath, he's rather awkward and has a "shoot first, ask questions later" attitude, acting like something of a man-child.
Appearance[]
Adrian Chase is a man of about thirty years old. He is quite handsome, brown hair, brown eyes, and clean-shaven face. Although quite tall and physically fit, Chase is not as tall and hasn't the same muscle mass as Peacemaker, but rather he is shorter, faster and more agile.

“ | Like, remember that one time we were leaving that serial killer guy's house and I told Vig to 'Take his shit' so the cops didn't find it and he was all...
