Char Aznable has declared Vikor (Gen V) is to be renamed to
Vikor (The Boys TV Series)
for the following reason(s): Name of franchise, and also Vikor was in comics too.

Please discuss it on the talk page for this article.
"I told you I am not Casval, I am Char Aznable."

Run along, sweetie. Things are about to get messy.
~ Vikor to Zoe Neuman, also his last words.

Vikor is a major antagonist in Season Two of the Amazon series Gen V, a spin-off series of The Boys. He is a powerful Nordic-themed Supe working with Dean Cipher as a combat trainer for Godolkin University as well as his enforcer.

He was portrayed by Tait Fletcher, who also played Lester in Breaking Bad.

Biography[]

Past[]

Shortly after Vikor's birth, his parents accepted Vought's offer to inject him with Compound V, subsequently transforming Vikor into a Supe and granting him superhuman powers and abilities.

At some point, Vikor was picked by Vought International and Dean Cipher to assist students at Godolkin University by training them to maximize their powers to the fullest potential.

Gen V[]

Cipher invites Marie, Jordan and a few other students to attend a special class called "Hero Optimisation"; designed to train and hone their powers. Cipher announces the first lesson as a simple one - to push a button on the far side of the wall to end the class, after getting past Vikor first. In this whole battle, Jordan presses the button to end the lesson, and Vikor departs the arena and taunts the group as he does.

Later on at Unsafe Spaces, Vikor is commenting the fight with Dan Goodwin between Marie and Jordan.

After Cipher tracks Marie's location, he sends out Vikor to eliminate Marie's friends and capture Marie alive. In this chaotic battle at the abandoned library, Vikor subdues Jordan and Sam and prepares to capture Marie. However, he is encountered by an innocent-looking and young girl, and Vikor attempts to send her away or things will get real messy. Suddenly, the girl, revealing herself to be Zoe Neuman, the daughter of the late Victoria Neuman, unleashes her tendrils to rip off the half upper of his head, killing Vikor.

Powers & Abilities[]

Powers[]

  • Superhuman Strength: Vikor possesses superhuman strength, which makes him stronger than humans and most Supes. He is a powerful Supe handpicked by Dean Cipher to train students. With his strength, Vikor can effortlessly overpower multiple Supes and throw them around with his hammer. One of these supes is Jordan Li, who is notoriously hard to move in their male form. Seeing as how he defeated Jordan with ease, while Sam Riordan had to fight relatively hard to defeat Jordan. He was also able to easily overpower Sam in a physical brawl, tossing him around with ease and sending him through a window.
  • Superhuman Durability: Vikor possesses superhuman durability, making him more durable than humans and most Supes. He can withstand his own superhuman strength. Additionally, Vikor can take super-powered hits from students like Jordan Li, tanking their physical blows and absorbing multiple of their energy blasts. Not only that, but he was able to overcome Marie's blood manipulation, where she attempted to stop his heart. He also withstands a physical assault from Sam, showing no signs of damage.
  • Superhuman Hearing: Vikor possesses superhuman hearing, allowing him to hear better than humans. Like all Supes, he can hear higher frequencies that humans cannot.[1]

Abilities[]

  • Master Combatant: Vikor is a seasoned superhero with years of combat experience, making him an extremely capable hand-to-hand combatant. As a result, Dean Cipher selected Vikor to train students at Godolkin University to help them reach their full potential and become powerful soldiers. Vikor’s experience in fighting other Supes was shown when Marie attempted to stop his heart’s blood flow, where Vikor immediately figured out what she was doing and kept his heart beating by externally pumping it by pounding his chest, demonstrating Vikor’s ability to remain calm and analyze his surroundings even in lethal situations.
    • Hammer Proficiency: Vikor is well skilled in wielding his near-indestructible hammer. With his strength and skill, he can overwhelm, stun, and throw Supes with immense ease.

Trivia[]

  • He seems to be based on Thor from Marvel Comics: both are Vikings and wield a hammer as the main weapon.
  • In comics, Vikor was a leader of "superhero" team called Children of Stormfront, and was blackmailed by Billy Butcher.
