Viktor (Russian: Виктор) is a minor antagonist in the 2009 video game Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and its 2020 remaster.

He is a member of the Inner Circle who participated in the Zakhaev Airport massacre planned by Vladimir Makarov, who decided to enact a third world war by pinning the blame on the Americans. Viktor was assigned to eliminate the HVI that was in Virginia, but he was killed by the target during the invasion.

He was voiced by Michael Cudlitz, who also portrayed Francis Goehring in Criminal Minds, Paul Krendler in Clairce and Lex Luthor in Superman & Lois.

Viktor was a member of the Inner Circle, presumably believing in Vladimir Makarov's cause to destroy the west.

Airport Massacre[]

Along with Lev, Anatoly, Kiril, Alexei Borodin and the group's leader Vladimir Makarov, he participated in the Zakhaev Airport massacre. During the attack, the terrorists spoke in forced American accents and carried American-made weapons to make it look like the USA was responsible for the attack. Viktor, along with Makarov and Anatoly, was one of the only survivors, as Kiril and Lev were killed by security forces and Borodin was shot by Makarov for being an undercover American agent. The discovery of "Borodin" at the scene led to the plan's success and Russia invading America.

World War III[]

During the invasion of the United States, Viktor and a Russian soldier were sent to kill an HVI named Icepick that was holding critical intelligence. They entered his safe house to kill him, but he was armed and there was a shootout; Viktor and the HVI were both killed. The US Rangers arrived at the location but found the two of them dead and the Russian soldier searching the fridge. They could tell Viktor was a member of the Inner Circle because of his tattoos.

Trivia[]

Even though he's mean to be Russian, he speaks with an American accent due to his voice actor, Michael Cudlitz, being American.
