Vile is the protagonist for the online point-and-click game series Reincarnation. His job in the series is to hunt down souls who escaped from Hell (reincarnies) and either find a sin they've committed or trick them into committing one so he can kill them and take them back to Hell.
Personality[]
Vile delights in committing all sorts of evil, anything as small as turning off open signs to murdering reincarnies. He's clever and resourceful, which allows him to use anything found in his environment as a distraction or tool. He is also selfish and willing to use others to serve his means, even going so far as using innocent people to tempt reincarnies to sin, such as by leading children to murderers (as seen in Reincarnation: All Hallow's Evil) or allowing people to get drugged (as seen in Reincarnation: The Final Happy Hour). While he enjoys harming others, he hates his job since it forces him to go to the human realm. He'd rather spend his time torturing souls already in Hell and drinking booze. He also has a dark sense of humor and usually laughs at those in misfortune.
Powers and Abilities[]
Like other demons in this series, Vile has these limited powers:
Telekinesis: he can lift small objects and animals, and he can drag medium-sized objects (such as oil drums).
Pyrokinesis: this is mainly used when he's enraged and to put items in or pull items out of his hammerspace inventory.
Teleportation: demons can use this in the human realm to get back to Hell. This is done via internal combustion.
Reincarnation: when a demon dies, they are reborn as a demon fetus.
Vile specifically has the ability to sound like other people, which is usually done to trick victims or people blocking his access to a victim.
