The Villain Con Villains are the main antagonists of Illumination's 5th full-length feature film, Minions, a prequel to the Despicable Me franchise.
They are a group of villains that went to the con in Orlando, called Villain Con. But then, they serve as Scarlet Overkill's bodyguards, who are trying to prevent the Minions from trying to kill her (even though it was by accident). This group consists of about 16 notable villains.
History[]
These villains are first seen at Villain Con, attempting to be Scarlet Overkill's henchman. Unfortunately, fhey fail to steal the ruby from her. Instead, it was Kevin, Stuart, and Bob who did it, and she picks them to be her new henchman. Despite failing to steal the ruby, the Villain Con Villains cheer Kevin, Stuart, and Bob.
After the Minions escape from the dungeon, the villains from Villain Con are seen at Scarlet's coronation, where she will be declared the Queen of England. But before she can get the crown, the Minions accidentally unscrewed a chandelier that crushes her. Herb Overkill gets some help from a couple of villains of the Con to help move the chandelier out of the way. But then, Scarlet manages to break out of it, and she orders the villains to kill the minions for trying to kill her, so they case the minions throughout the streets the London, but Stuart gets stuck in Dumo the sumo's belly and gets caught by him, Bob gets kidnapped by Frankie Fishlips, only Kevin manages to escape, but when Kevin goes back to Scarlet's palace, Dumo notices him and they head towards the palace to kill him, they use Dumo's head to break the door down, they get locked out by Kevin in Herb's invention room. They manage to get in but Kevin turns into a giant before they could get him, his giant form destroys the entire castle and scarring off the rest of the villains. It's completely unknown what happened to the villains that were present inside the castle afterwards, especially Dumo the Sumo. But since Kevin ended up destroying the castle with them inside, it's possible that they were crushed to death by the fallen debris. However, they could've also been severely injured and managed to flee. In Despicable Me 4, some of the villains are revealed to not be arrested by the AVL, while the others are seen in the AVL prison.

- Dumo and Frankie are the only Villains Con Villains kidnap the first two Minions, Stuart and Bob. They are also the only ones who have names as well. All of the other Villains Con Villains are unnamed.
- Dumo seems to be a cannibal because it was mentioned that he ate his last henchmen. However, it's unknown if he/she was a human. Despite this, it's possible that he might not be one.
- Dumo's voice actor, Hiroyuki Sanada, is known for voicing Kenji in Rush Hour 3.
- The Dragon Tourist makes a cameo appearance in the 2016 Illumination film, Sing.
- Frankie can be seen as background character in two films: Minions: The Rise of Gru and Despicable Me 4.
- Mr. Spikey can be seen in Lyce Pas Bon School of Villainy.
- In The Secret Life of Pets 2, the unnamed villain with orange glasses is fighting with a superhero on TV.
