Vincent Anderson is an antagonist in the SCP Foundation mythos. He is the sinister co-founder and CEO of the infamous Anderson Robotics company, utilizing his many robotic products to profit as much as possible and takeover other important groups. This would lead to him going against various organizations such as the SCP Foundation and the Unusual Incidents Unit, particularly being the subject of Agent Sasha Merlo's fixation. After being captured by the Foundation he was designated as SCP-3860.
Anderson plays an important role in "Those Twisted Pines" and "Third Law" canons.
Originally, prior to modifying himself, Anderson as a normal human stood 175 cm tall and weighed 150 kg. He used to possess natural green eyes and long black hair which he tied in a ponytail.
During the rise of Anderson Robotics, Anderson made a series of augmentations to his body. These included: replacing his limbs with prototypes of SCP-2806; mechanical eyes embedded with thaumaturgical symbols; replacing his nose with a single grafted orifice; grafts of white aramid fibers resembling SCP-1360-1 growing over his torso; replacing his ears with audio receptors; and completely removing his hair. After changing his face, Anderson wore a Venetian-style mask that would change between the "comedy" and "tragedy" expressions by taping on it. Before raiding Site-64 for the last time, Anderson was given a new mask by Juniper made out of a tree's bark from SCP-3560. Because of his faulty voice module, Anderson spoke in a halting speech, his sentences being interrupted by filler words like "um" and "uh", though he was able to fix it later on.
Powers and Abilities[]
Anderson was a genius inventor who held deep knowledge and understanding in technology, especially when it came to robotics though he was capable of creating other powerful machines capable of time travel. He would later dabble in thaumaturgy, or magic, which he combined with his inventions, engineering truly advanced technology way ahead of its time. With the help of his partners, Anderson gave rise to intelligent robots capable at various feats, including service, surveillance, infiltration and combat. To add to this, Anderson and his employees had at their disposal blue slime that destroyed and melted technology, allowing them to prevent competitors or other enemy groups from claiming their technology, and orange slime that petrified around their enemies, blocking their movement.
After modifying his body to improve his physiology, Anderson replaced most of his body parts with prototypes of his future products which included: his limbs now constructed aluminum, PMMA, polycarbonate casings, and white aramid fibers which connected to his central nervous system via a network of thin cobalt-chromium alloy wires and powered from a unknown source, possibly thaumaturgical in nature; his mechanical camera eyes that were comprised of a complex series of thaumaturgically-enhanced optical lenses; regenerative artificial skin; synthetic liver and kidneys; and several modifications to his brain like the frontal lobe, parietal lobe, and cerebellum that enhanced his thaumaturgical skills. These modifications granted Anderson superhuman capabilities, along with communicating and connecting to technological networks. His arms were equipped with a thin, articulate cable that ejected from the palm of his hand and besides being capable of piercing through flesh and kevlar, could also administer painful electric shocks, and a mechanism that fired electric bolts from the index and ring finger doing the "finger gun" motion. To add to this, Anderson was able to switch bodies with a Saker replica of himself via SCP-5460.

Anderson was an intelligent avid man who hoped to use his inventions to become rich, famous and influential. While growing up, he was protective of his younger brother, and maintained a close relationship with him until the end. He fell in love with Jill, and dearly loved their daughter Erica, but feeling they were pulling him back he left his family to pursue hid career, never admitting that it was out egoism but deluding himself that he was keeping them safe from his enemies. He had genuine friendships with his fellow board directors, especially Phineas who he knew for a very long time, and was very protective of them. However, when it came to business Anderson was cunning and manipulative, believing himself to be above the law and not showing much regards for the lives of others, except those close to him. He would manipulate his subordinates by telling them they were like family to him, while creating his products through unethical means, and use his often sapient robots in his crimes, and once they were of no use to him he would dispose of them. Needing financing, Anderson eagerly accepted the deal with Marshall, Carter and Dark, despite knowing too well the latter's evil greedy nature, and obeyed every request the rich organization had. Despite respecting his co-workers, he always acted on his own and disregarded the others' advices, and when this led to Phineas betraying him Anderson became furious and soon killed him though he would come to regret this. Agent Merlo became obsessed with detaining Anderson as he not only antagonized her but had no problem threatening her and her coworkers in order to get rid of them. In his pursuit of greatness, Anderson sought elevate himself by modifying his body and replacing several body parts with his inventions to become a powerful cyborg. He tried to maintain his false image of an inspiring benefactor who did good in the world, but when he was told that he was nothing more than a opportunistic and egotistical liner he refused to acknowledge it and would delude himself he was altruistic. Eventually, his deeds caught up to him, causing all of his hard work to come crashing down, and despite all of this he would come accept defeat after seeing no escape but not before getting the last laugh by undertaking secret actions to outmaneuver and inconvenient his enemies.

Originally, Anderson was intended to have five copies of himself in charge of Anderson Robotics, but that idea proved to be unworkable for author Jacob Conwell and those five characters became Phineas Frostman, Medea and Jason Contos, Jeffrey Wilson and Issac Dillard.
In "Anderson the Alternative" in which Anderson Robotics was sponsored by the Foundation instead of MC&D, Anderson began working for the Foundation's Robotics Department. At some point he created a Saker replica of Phineas who he later destroyed due to a fight, causing to end up in SCP-3560. After 3560's manifestation, Anderson accompanied an MTF sent to explore it, but were ambushed by the vengeful robots led by Phineas' Saker replica who wished to kill Anderson so his soul would also be trapped in this limbo but he managed to evade his former friend for a time.
In MLZ-1730 in which the contained anomalies and Foundation personnel switched places, with the anomalies taking the role of Foundation personnel known as the "Man Zoo League" and containing normal people in their "Man Zoo", Anderson became the director of MZL-60.
In "Putting a Ghost in the Machine" taking place in the "Unfounded" canon in which the SCP Foundation was never formed, Anderson and his company were mostly the same, and thanks to his connections he got hold of SCP-158 which he would use for the Saker project.
As stated in "Ties That Bind", Vincent Anderson and Anderson Robotics have no connection to James Anderson, the founder of The Factory.
In the universe of the tale 'Re: KTO-0001-Bellfather "Overwatch Council"' in which the GOC is unrelated to the UN and the Foundation doesn't exist, it is revealed that Anderson had a son named Vincent Anderson II who inherited the company before it was dissolved.
In "Finding Anderson", Anderson quips that if the Foundation had been around in the prehistoric era then it would try to hide the fire due to being "anomalous" at the time. Coincidentally, this exact event happened in SCP-001-EX-J.
In "Snippets of an Unveiled World" set in the "Broken Masquerade" canon in which the anomalies and the GoIs became public knowledge, Vincent Anderson tried to justify to the press the company's actions while behind the Veil of Secrecy and promised they would do better in the new status quo of the world.
In the universe of SCP-6001 where the Compendium, a benevolent amalgam organization of different GoIs, took over the world and declared worldwide peace with all anomalies, Vincent was know as the Prophet Anderson who helped with the AIs being accepted into society.
The document "UIU Memorandum — Paralaw Briefing" revealed that Anderson's attempt to infiltrate the House of Representatives raised the concern if androids could be qualified as people with human rights under the Constitution. This led to the creation of the Caldwell test which served to see if an artificial being could think outside of its programming, and if that was the case then it may be considered a person with rights regardless of appearance.
