~ Vincente to Jennifer Banko while hanging her. |
Vincente DiSanti is the titular main antagonist of the 2021 meta slasher film 13 Fanboy. He is the fictionalized version of the filmmaker of the same name.
History[]
As a kid, his dad would lock him a basement when he was “bad”. To keep himself occupied, he would watch VHS copies of the Friday the 13th and Halloween films. From there on out, he became obsessed with them and started writing letters/messages. The messages initially started off enduring but quickly became violent and threatening with the actors didn’t return the affection or become his friend.
Before the events of the film, he sent letters to Friday the 13th star Deborah Sue Voorhees (who played Tina in Friday the 13th Part V: A New Beginning). However, as time went on, the letters got more aggressive and creepy as Deborah didn’t write back, culminating in him stalking her and sending her pictures of her and her granddaughter Kelsie. This eventually caused her to get out of her house alongside Kelsie. As they ran off, he impaled a random female Ranch Hand through the abdomen with a pitchfork before continuing his chase. Deborah briefly tried to shoot him, however, Vincente kicked her gun out of her hand before she could do this and began stabbing her to death right in front of Kelsei who was a kid at the time. Years later, the adult Kelsei went on to become an actress in a horror series called Blood Lust, as well as a martial artist. Despite this though, she was still haunted by what happened to her grandmother and is made even more unsettled when she learns that another Friday the 13th actress Lar Park Lincoln had been killed, with her final moments having been broadcasted on the dark web. Unbeknownst to everyone, Vincent had kidnapped Lar and had left her to starve to death in an unknown building, something she had claimed online was her worst fear.
Being overwhelmed, she went to her room. Unfortunately, Vincent showed up and slid a picture of both her and Deborah when she was younger from underneath her room’s door before aggressively banging on it and demanding she let him in. When she attempts to confront him by opening her door, she accidentally ends up punching her boyfriend.
As it turns out, Lar wasn’t the only one, as he began targeting the other actors as well, first starting with Tracie Savage, the actress who played Tracie in Friday the 13th Part III. Upon being blocked by her online when he asks her if would be cool if she died like how her character died in the movie, he uses another account and informs her to look at her desk, to which she finds a blood-stained bra. Vincente then sadistically informed her that the blood belonged to a loved one but didn’t specify who specifically. Tracie quickly concluded that it was her husband James and tried to call him but unbeknownst to her, Vincent had already killed him by stabbing him to death (so much so that his organs can be seen nearly coming out). When Tracie tried to phone call a security guard, it didn't work either as the guard had been stabbed in the head by Vincent, forcing her to call 911. While this is happening, Vincente impales a janitor through the jawline and out through the skull with a broken mop handle and later takes his keys to open the door to where Tracie is.
Tracy attempted to defend herself and even managed to stab him in the hand with scissors before Vincente knocked her out and kidnapped her. It’s revealed at the end of the film, that he had worked with Friday the 13th actress Judie Aronson to make a snuff film involving Tracie. In the film, they ask her 10 trivia questions about the Friday the 13th films. However, due to having not seen the films besides the one she was in, she got the majority of them wrong and is eventually drilled in the head by Vincente because of it.
Vicente then moved on to stalk Jennifer Banko (who played the young version of Tina in Friday the 13th Part VII). One night, while she was home alone, he sent her a photo he had taken of her and later informed her that tonight was the night she got it. This scared her and she asked Kane Holder (the actor for Jason in Friday the 13th Part VII to Jason X) for help which he did. Unfortunately during his fight with Kane, he severely injured him by stabbing him a few times before attempting to hang Jennifer in front of him. Luckily, Kane managed to save her before eventually succumbing to his injuries, where he tearfully asked her to tell his wife and two sons that he loved them.
Independent of this, he had also been stalking Deborah Voorhees’ friend Dee Wallace, who had been riddled with guilt for not taking Deborah’s fears of DiSanti seriously when she admitted being scared of what he would do. Unknown to her, he had broken into her house cut a piece of her hair and left it in her sink to freak her out.
On Kelsie’s side of things, he had met her while rehearsing a scene for another Bloodlust film and immediately recognizes him as the guy who was exploiting her grandmother’s death by claiming the person who killed Deborah Voorhees was also responsible for Lar Park's disappearance. Immediately after this, while rehearsing a scene with an actress for Bloodlust 3, she accidentally stabbed the actress with a real knife, having no idea that Vincent had replaced the prop knife with a fake one, further traumatizing her.
While looking online, she discovered that yet another Friday the 13th actress, Tiffany Helm (the actress who played Violet in Friday the 13th Part V: A New Beginning) had been slaughtered by stabbing several times in the neck and abdomen before later decapitating her. Kelsie then received a text message from him asking whether Dee Wallace would scream louder than her grandmother. This prompts her to immediately call her, leading to Dee hiding her grandkids inside a bunker and attempting to do the same with her husband Ron Sloan (the actor of Junior from Friday the 13th Part V), despite him just dismissing it as her being paranoid. Dee briefly takes out her and begins pointing it aimlessly at night. Time eventually passed till morning and he never attacked her. Instead, he took pictures of her throughout the night and left them at her home for her to find in the morning.
Now having proper evidence, she contacted the police and informed them of what had been going on to which they reassured her that they would protect her while also advising her to lock her doors before going to bed. Later that night, while sleeping, she woke up to find a video on a laptop that said “Play me” which showed footage of Vincent killing Deborah. In addition to this, she also found Ron dead in his sleep, having been stabbed in the neck with a scissor by Vincente. To make matters worse, when the police looked at the footage, they noticed Dee in the video just watching, leading to them suspecting her as the one who killed Ron and arresting her, despite her claiming she was never there and that she wouldn’t have done it.
Fortunately, Kelsie managed to prove her innocence by showing the police that the footage had been edited and that a photo of her taken days ago was edited in to make it look like she was there. Coincidentally, a film producer on the Blood Lust films was arrested instead afterward when police found a real blood-stained machete in his bag. In reality, Vincente had placed it there to frame him. Luckily for him, like Dee, he was later found innocent after examination.
Vincente struck once again by using Tracie’s phones and luring both Dee and Kelsie outside their house. Two police officers attempted to protect them but Vincente slaughtered them before they could find them, the first one by throwing a Hatchet into his stomach and the second by stabbing her in the head with a gardening hoe.
While running through the forest, Dee accidentally rammed into a tree, causing her immense pain. Vincente took advantage of this and ambushed Kelsie, with the intent to finish her off. However, just as he was about to do this, he was tackled by C.J. Graham (the actor for Jason in Friday the 13th Part VI: Jason Lives), who had chosen to visit them earlier and had overheard all the commotion outside. Recognizing him as one of the actors for Jason, CJ took notice of this and challenged him to fight for the “title” which he immediately accepted.
C.J. managed to get a few hits but Vincente eventually started to get the upper hand due to the former old age. Just as it seemed like Vincente was going to win, he was shot in the heart by Judie Aronson.
