Violengiguar

Violengiguar (alternatively spelled Violenjiger, Violent Jiger, Violen Jig-er, Violent Chigger, Violin Juggler or Bio Ranger Iga) is the New Emperor of Destruction of the Decepticons and the main antagonist of the Transformers Zone manga and OVA episode.

He is a colossal, mysterious shadowy being with three faces who is the superior of the Nine Great Demon Generals, which he assembled from the mightiest warriors among the Decepticons. He seeks to create a "Decepticon Zone" by transforming an area of space using super-energy.

In the manga he has the power to split into three giant insect-like creatures named Vion, Lenja and Igern.

He was voiced by the late Daisuke Gōri in the OVA.

Biography[]

His origin is not specified in the OVA, but in the manga it is revealed that Violen Jiger was formed by the souls of deceased Decepticons fusing together into a corporeal being. After emerging on the Tenth Planet, Violen Jiger transformed it into his headquarters and summoned the Decepticon warriors Devastator, Bruticus, Menasor, Predaking, Abominus, Trypticon, King Poseidon, Overlord and BlackZarak to serve as his Nine Great Demon Generals, grant them new bodies and powers in exchange for their service.

Violen Jiger sent his generals forth to scour the universe for the Zodiac, an energy source responsible for the creation of the universe. Violen Jiger's campaign of terror was opposed by the Autobots, led by Victory Saber, who traveled to the planet Feminia to stop the Decepticons' conquest there. However, the Autobots were unable to stop the Decepticons from destroying the planet and Supreme Commander Victory Saber seemingly perished in the fighting.

In addition to the Zodiac, Violen Jiger also sought an advanced form of Energon known as Energon Z, which he hoped to fuse with the Zodiac to create a super-energy source to conquer the universe with. Violen Jiger sent his generals to the planet Zone to obtain the energy source for him, but they were fought off by the Autobot Dai Atlas with the power of the Zodiac.
