The Virtual Warriors are an assortment of monsters from the Virtual Reality who serve Grimlord and the main antagonists of the 1994-1996 television series VR Troopers.
There are many different creatures within the Virtual Warriors, including robots, cyborgs and mutants. They are loosely organized into several different armies each commanded by one of Grimlord's key lieutenants. In Season 1 their base was the Virtual Dungeon, but after its destruction at the start of Season 2 they moved to the Virtual Dark Fortress.
History[]
Right as the Virtual Warriors were on the verge of breaking the barrier that separated the Virtual Reality from the real one, three teenagers were recruited by Professor Hart to become the VR Troopers to fight against Grimlord's forces. After the three became the VR Troopers, Grimlord sent out his forces, spearheaded by Decimator and Kongbot, to destroy them. While JB and Kaitlin were able to destroy Kongbot, Ryan was overwhelmed by Decimator and seriously injured. After Ryan was taken back to Hart's lab and repaired, he fought against General Ivar's army while JB and Kaitlin destroyed Grimlord's outpost he was staging his attack from. Ryan meanwhile defeated General Ivar and forced him and his army to pull back.
His scheme having been thwarted by the VR Troopers, Grimlord would divert his army's attention to them, leading to a long battle as the VR Troopers repeatedly thwarted Grimlord's attempts to break down the barrier and take over the world.
