It is revealed by Holmes that Mrs. Norbury likes ice lollies, animals (particularly cats and fish), and is an alcoholic.
Physical appearance[]
Mrs. Norbury is somewhat frail. She is Caucasian, and has dark lips which are slightly stained with red wine. She has grey hair which is cut into a medium length bob and requires glasses.
Biography[]
Background[]
Mrs. Norbury worked with the British government in its intelligence operations alongside Mary Morstan and the rest of A.G.R.A (an assassin squad). During an operation, Mrs. Norbury betrayed the British government and informed an enemy state of the operation, ruining the operation and resulting in multiple deaths.
Mrs. Norbury was able to hide this from the government, and maintained a position as a PA and note-taker. Sherlock's analysis reveals that Mrs. Norbury was once married, but is now widowed, owns a flat in West London as well as a cottage in Cornwall.
Sherlock[]
Mrs. Norbury appears in the debrief of Sherlock's assassination of Charles Augustus Magnussen, simply taking notes and being questioned by an intoxicated Sherlock Holmes. Mrs. Norbury seems a bit confused by Sherlock's erratic behaviour but tries to play along with him nonetheless. By the end of the episode, it is revealed that an English woman betrayed A.G.R.A, which Sherlock believes either to be Lady Alicia Smallwood or Mary.
However, Sherlock discovers it is instead Mrs. Norbury, who reveals that she had frequently been selling Government secrets, and needed to betray A.G.R.A to cause the death of the British ambassador who was aware of her crimes to protect herself. Mrs. Norbury then pulls a gun on Sherlock after he tries to detain her. Mary Watson arrives and is shot by Mrs. Norbury in a skirmish whilst trying to protect Sherlock (who believes the gun to be unloaded). Mrs. Norbury is then arrested.
