Volcano Lotuses, sometimes incorrectly called Fire Plants in the TV show, are minor antagonists in the Super Mario franchise. They are hostile plants that are implied to be working for Bowser, though they can also be assumed to simply be wild plants.
Appearance[]
Volcano Lotuses appear as large white flowers with no stem, and their two petals fade into red at the tip. They have four thick green leaves that shoot out from the dirt. The lava they spew appear as four glowing orange chunks that take nearly 10 seconds to fall to the ground.
Mechanic[]
Volcano Lotuses shoot out four chunks of lava in four different diagonal angles. The Volcano Lotuses can be killed by Mario's cape, Peach's emotions, and fire flower fireballs.
Trivia[]
- Volcano Lotuses can sleep. In Super Princess Peach, C. V. Plants (Calm Volcano Plants) are seen with their leaves covering their petals, presumably sleeping.
- Volcano Lotuses were featured as flowers in the Super Mario Minecraft texture pack.
