Vulcan is a major antagonist in Bakugan Battle Brawlers: New Vestroia. He is a titanic, mighty Bakugan that is Gus Grav's Guardian Bakugan.

Personality

Vulcan gets along with Gus and is loyal to him, as shown when he willingly evolved and when he saved Gus from getting crushed.

Biography

Vulcan was first shown in a flashback, battling against Helios in the Alpha City finals. He loses to Helios in the end, this defeat inspiring his master to join Spectra Phantom in the Vexos.

Gus and Vulcan later fight Dan Kuso and Drago and defeat them easily in the first round. In the second round, Hexados joins Vulcan and takes out Dan's traps. Drago takes out Hexos, but Vulcan still wins the fight against Drago with Heavy Aegis.

Drago and Vulcan later face off in a rematch, where Vulcan wins the first round. In the second round, Drago joins with Scorpion to take down Vulcan. Spectra joins the battle and uses Hyper Dragonoid to battle Drago to see his powers. Right when Drago was going to beat Hyper Drago, however, Vulcan uses Heavy Aegis to knock out Drago's ability. Despite this, Shun and Ingram arrive and defeat Vulcan, eliminating Gus from the fight.

While stranded on Earth, he faces Wilda but loses due to Juile giving Mira advice on how to combat his Subterra status.

After the final Dimension Controller is destroyed by Drago and Helios' battle, Vulcan is released from his ball form and Gus rides him out of Vestal Palace, only to find Brontes and Elico were thrown out by Mylene Farrow. Vulcan and Elico then helped an injured Helios onto Spectra's ship as they escaped Vestal.

Gus later evolves Vulcan to Rex Vulcan, making him grow in power. Using him first against Farbros, he and Blast Elico ultimately loses as he and his master are imprisoned by the newly-awakened Farbros.

Sometime later, Vulcan and Gus are shown to be alive when they see that Prince Hydron got imprisoned after losing to Zenoheld. After the two talked each other harshly, they used Vulcan and Dryoid to escape from their pirson. Gus and Vulcan then join Spectra and Helios in fighting Zenoheld and Farbros. The two Bakugan hold their own and give Farbros some trouble.

After The Resistance arrives to help take out the Fortress guarding the Alternative and King Zenoheld, Vulcan and Dryoid battle with the the Restance to stop Zenohelds plans.
