W is a minor antagonist in Xenoblade Chronicles 3. She is one of the Consuls and right-hand of R.
Appearance[]
As with the other Consuls, W wears red armor with a purple core in the middle. Her helmet is styled with two large sails to the side and a spike at the top, resembling the letter "W" or the Thunderbird.
Biography[]
Little is known about W's origins, other than she became a member of the Consuls after falling to despair.
Following R's defeat by Ashera and the Ouroboros at Colony 11, she forms a deal with W as a way to get revenge. With W's ability to possess soldiers both alive and dead, R has her hoard attack Colony 11. R challenges Ashera to a duel, with failure meaning the husks destroy the colony.
At the Hovering Reef 0, the arena where the duel takes place, Ashera and the Ouroboros quickly realize they were sent into a trap. W appears and stabs Ashera in the back, brainwashing her as with the other zombified soldiers. W asks R if she could "play" with her new toy, to which R gladly accepted and has the brainwashed Ashera attack the party.
During their battle, Eunie shoots Ashera and manages to convince her that now was not the time to accept her death, allowing her to break out of W's control by putting barriers around her psyche. W decides to flee seeing she couldn't control Ashera, but is tempted to stay when R yells at her. R then transforms into a Moebius and demands W to do so to, as well as bring her remaining husks. The party and Ashera manage to defeat both Consuls, with W groaning as she withers away.
