The Waffen-SS (English Armed-SS) are supporting antagonists in the Call of Duty franchise, only appearing in the World War II era video games of the series.
The Waffen-SS was the combat branch of the Nazi Party's Schuttzstaffel (SS) paramilitary organization and wanted to establish and secure a Germanic hegemony across all of Europe, eliminating and enslaving races they considered sub-human and non-Aryan. In the series, they appear as a hostile faction against the United States Military, Red Army, and the other Allied Powers, and are often seen with the Wehrmacht.

Call of Duty[]
The Waffen-SS appear in Call of Duty and Call of Duty: United Offensive, often alongside Wehrmacht soldiers when fighting against the U.S. Military, British Army, and Red Army. The Waffen-SS soldiers are noticeable for wearing green oak leaf pattern clothing.
Call of Duty 2: Big Red One[]

The Waffen-SS do not appear physically in Call of Duty 2: Big Red One, but are mentioned in the mission "We've Been Through Worse".
Call of Duty 3[]
The Waffen-SS return in Call of Duty 3, appearing as regular enemies in missions such as "Falaise Road", "The Black Baron", "Laison River", "The Crossroads", "Hostage!", "The Mace" and "Chambois". The Waffen-SS fight alongside the Wehrmacht in several missions, and fight against the American 90th Infantry Division, the 4th Canadian Armoured Division, and the Polish 1st Armored Division, but are absent in the British missions.
Call of Duty: World at War[]

The Waffen-SS return in Call of Duty: World at War, appearing in late missions in the Soviet campaign when the Red Army pushes deeper into Germany. Red Army Sergeant Viktor Reznov refers to the Waffen as Honor Guards in the mission "Downfall", where they appear as the main hostile force in the Reichstag. The Waffen-SS fail to stop the Red Army from assaulting the Reichstag, and the last defender attempts to kill private Dimitri Petrenko.
Call of Duty: Black Ops[]
The Waffen-SS appear in Call of Duty: Black Ops, with the remnants of the hostile force working the Wehrmacht in the mission "Project Nova". Nikita Dragovich commands a team led by Reznov and Petrenko to find Dr. Friedrich Steiner, who was recruited into the German Military as an SS officer during World War II.

The Waffen-SS return in Call of Duty: WWII, fighting against the United States Military throughout the campaign. In the mission "Death Factory", the Waffen-SS storm the 1st Infantry Division's position on the bridge, and later assault the division in "Hill 493" when a Tiger II tank appears. In said mission, the tank's commander attempts to kill Lieutenant Joseph Turner, but is stopped and killed by Private Ronald "Red" Daniels.
Nazi Zombies[]
The Waffen-SS also make an appearance in Nazi Zombies, with them being undead zombies in the maps "Nacht der Untoten", "Verruckt", "Der Riese", and "Kino der Toten".
