| ~ Wakamo Kosaka. |
Wakamo Kosaka, aliased the Fox of Calamity, is a major antagonist in the 2021 role-playing game Blue Archive. She was originally a sadistic student at Hyakkiyako Alliance Academy, but was suspended from the school for directly causing massive acts of destruction and is now on the run as a terrorist mastermind in Kivotos. She is a supporting antagonist in the prologue, and the main antagonist of the Event: Wakamo Kosaka's Silence and Feast and Event: Abydos Resort Restoration Committee.
Currently, she is listed as the most sadistic and destructive criminal among the Seven Prisoners as compared to the other currently known members of the Seven Prisoners, who are Akira Kiyosumi, who was known stealing various artifacts, and Kai Shintani, who was known for smuggling drugs.
She is voiced by Chiwa Saito. who also voiced Homura Akemi in Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Nureha in Log Horizon, and Kokoa Shuzen in Rosario + Vampire.
Personality[]
Dubbed as the Fox of Calamity, Wakamo is considered as sadistic, cruel, vicious, malicious, manipulative, and incredibly dangerous and pragmatic criminal in Kivotos. She is a rebel with an innate love of anarchy and destruction, preferring to cause chaos and mayhem wherever she goes. Her crimes are considered to be the most serious in Kivotos and have not only caused her to be suspended from school, but also made her a target of the Valkyrie Police Academy.
She was in charge of leading an attack towards the building of Schale, an extrajudicial organization created by the General Student Council President with an advisor named Sensei. However, when Wakamo met Sensei, she fell in love at first sight and her sadistic tendencies began to falter as she started to demonstrate behavior that didn't match her chaotic personality, such as crying whenever she was scolded by Sensei for causing trouble during one of the side story events. Although she still retains her desire for violence and destruction, she is no longer as wild as she used to be due to her love for Sensei. It should also be noted that although she appears to be a moody person who acts on impulse due to her pattern of destructive behavior, she is actually a very cunning person who always meticulously plans out her jobs in advance and gets extremely stressed when things don't go according to plan.
Biography[]
Her past is unknown, but it is implied that she has suffered tragedy in the past. The first thing to note about Wakamo is that she takes promises very, very seriously. She will stand on her feet for six hours to keep an appointment, or stand alone in the rain at night in her swimsuit, while other students would have called Sensei, but Wakamo continues to wait for Sensei, trusting him because she made a promise.
Also, in her event story, Wakamo Kosaka's Silence and Feast, she says that Sensei, unlike others, did not betray or lie to her, but took her trust seriously and held her hand, implying that Wakamo has a history of being betrayed and lied to by others in the past and not having her trust reciprocated. This also suggests that Wakamo is a misanthrope.
It was also mentioned how she had been captured by the Federal Corrections Agency before her escape, and it was revealed that she had been captured and imprisoned by the FOX Platoon, the third-year elite students of SRT Special Academy, because she was seen as a threatening terrorist that even the Hyakkiyako Alliance Academy could not control.
In the prologue, she takes advantage of the anarchy caused by the disappearance of the student council president to break out and storm the SCHALE compound with a group of delinquents to turn Kivotos into a city of chaos. While distracted by the Crusader tank the delinquents brought with them, she checks something out in the basement, and is surprised to see SCHALE's Sensei, and runs away. From the description, it appears that it was love at first sight.
Event Story: Wakamo Kosaka's Silence and Feast[]
In the event, Wakamo was wreaking havoc before being stopped by Sensei and Sena Himuro who were patrolling around the area together. After she was stopped, she was taken into custody by Fubuki Nemugaki and Kirino Nakatsukasa of the Valkyrie Police Academy. However, when Kirino insisted they made sure Wakamo couldn't escape, especially after hearing rumors about how Wakamo is able to bewitch anyone who she gets near to, Fubuki told Kirino she's overthinking things, but of course things went downhill. The cycle of Wakamo being captured again and escaping proceeded to happen several times to the point where Valkyrie requested the aid of several students from different schools, namely Yuuka Hayase and Chihiro Kagami from Millennium Science School, Suzumi Morizuki and Hasumi Hanekawa from Trinity General School, and Chinatsu Hinomiya from Gehenna Academy. All these students but Chihiro were the same students who helped try to stop Wakamo's attack on Schale back at the Prologue.
After the multiple incidents of Wakamo escaping, security was heavily tightened, especially thanks to the aforementioned students. However, Chihiro noticed Wakamo in one of the security cameras, when Wakamo was actually being watched by Kirino and Fubuki in a room. When Kirino and Fubuki approached Wakamo in the room, they took off her mask to realize that it was a gangster in disguise. Multiple Wakamos were seen in other places, confusing and alerting everyone. While everyone was chasing Wakamo, including Sena who was with Sensei previously, Sensei was alone, giving Wakamo the chance to approach Sensei. However, Wakamo instead took off her mask and gave Sensei some chocolate she made. Sensei was glad about the chocolate but could not let go off the fact Wakamo created mass destruction around the area just to be able to give Sensei chocolate and was disappointed, making Wakamo cry. Although Sensei was disappointed, Wakamo was given a second chance to improve herself and not do the same mistake, which Wakamo gladly agreed, and she promptly left after their conversation.
In Wakamo's Valentine's Relationship Story, she took off her mask to meet Sensei and, as a bonus, completely changed her outfit, pacing around Sensei in disguise, waiting until Sensei recognized her. Like other students, she would give Sensei chocolate during Valentine's, but whenever Sensei tried to eat them, Sensei would react strangely When Sensei asked Wakamo what she put in the chocolate, Wakamo claimed she put a lot of "Affection" in the chocolate, making Sensei wonder. In her own Relationship Story, she wore the outfit during Episode 3 and onwards, claiming that she's wearing it to avoid embarrassment for Sensei on their date because Sensei knew she's notorious.
Event Story: Abydos Resort Restoration Committee[]
During this event, she was hired by Rabu Komakaze, leader of the Helmet Gangsters, a notorious group of gangsters that claimed the area of an island they were in belonged to them, to attack a group of students named the Foreclosure Task Force Club (FTC for short) who were inhabiting the area. When Wakamo found the group however, she noticed a familiar face who was with the group. It was Sensei, and Wakamo was dumbfounded as to why Sensei was there with the group. During this vulnerable state of hers, Shiroko Sunaookami, one of the FTC's members, made the first attack against Wakamo, and the group was able to defeat Wakamo and the Helmet Gangsters.
Rabu was furious Wakamo failed the mission, thinking she was far stronger when Rabu heard about Wakamo, but Wakamo wasn't listening to anything Rabu said. She was instead focusing on her own thoughts, thinking why Sensei was with the FTC, then came into the conclusion that Sensei was kidnapped by those students. Then, instead of Rabu being the one giving the orders as the leader, Wakamo instead took control and forced Rabu and the Helmet Gangsters to help her attack the FTC and save Sensei no matter what, in which they failed. Wakamo of course couldn't let this go, and she got the idea of using the Helmet Gangsters' boat, which was their home, to attack the FTC. Rabu tried to keep her stance, but she was weak compared to Wakamo, and they were forced to risk their home being destroyed during the fight.
When the FTC encountered Wakamo and the Helmet Gangsters on their boat, the FTC pulled out their own big weapon: their helicopter that they used to arrive at the island. While the FTC and the Helmet Gangsters were fighting, Wakamo managed to approach Sensei, but Sensei told her that it's all a misunderstanding. When Wakamo realized Sensei was not kidnapped and was actually helping the FTC, Wakamo was saddened thinking she disappointed Sensei once more, but Sensei reassured her and said it was alright. Wakamo then left the area smiling.
Event Story: Momoyodou Beach Bar Franchising Plan[]
Nearing the end of this event story, Sensei was kidnapped by the PMC Director of Kaiser Corporation, a corporation who the FTC was indebted to. However, the Director was demoted from being a Director due to certain incidents that happened between him and the FTC, leading to his current position as a Salesperson. He was also the one who hired the Helment Gangsters. However, when the Salesperson brought Sensei away from the FTC, he was attacked by Wakamo. As it turns out, Sensei had messaged Wakamo beforehand. The Salesperson tried to escape on a helicopter along with his soldiers, but for some reason, Wakamo had a giant rocket launcher with her, and she fired it at the helicopter as it was flying away. Sensei thanked her and invited her to go back with Sensei and the other students, but Wakamo had to leave for unknown reasons.

- Her white mask, golden eyes, and the name Wakamo suggest that she is inspired by the Japanese youkai, the White and Gold Kitsune.
