Biography[]
Walden first appears where he is at the Bada-Bing, talking to Tony Maffei about how big companies are somewhat helpful to their business of illegal importing of goods through the port of Newark, which is mostly orchestrated through Carlo, who is a captain in the family and someone who Walden looks up to. Later, Christopher Moltisanti, another captain in the family and the nephew of Tony Soprano, comes by and starts to ramble on about his daughter and her future, to which Paulie "Paulie Walnuts" Gualtieri, mocks Chris about his vulnerability causing everyone watching, including Walden and Tony to laugh hysterically at him, which causes Chris to leave.
In the following episode, Chris is killed in a car crash while being high on heroin, along with Tony, who suffocated him to death for him being too much of a liability. After his funeral, Walden comes over to Tony's house and mentions that Carlo will be arriving soon. However after saying this too many times, Silvio Dante, the family consigliere, tells him to stop taking. In the final episode, Walden finally plays a part in the main story when he is ordered to murder Phil Leotardo during the height of the DiMeo and Lupertazzi Family War. So after the family tracks him down, Phil's wife drives to a gas station to which Walden arrives at the gas station and shoots in the head Phil, killing him. After which, Walden leaves in a car driven by Benny Fazio.
Trivia[]
- Walden has been a small topic of theories and discussions among Sopranos fans. Owing to his short but prominent screen-time, such as being the show's only character to whack a boss, and his supposed symbolic connections with Christopher Moltisanti.
