Waldo is a major antagonist in the 1993 buddy cop film, Cop and a Half.
He was portrayed by Marc Macaulay.
Biography[]
Waldo is the right-hand man of Vinnie Fountain. He helps his comrades named Chu and Rudy tie their own friend Quintero to a chair before they and their boss Vinnie can drown him in the ocean outside of their warehouse. Vinnie announces his plan of selling drugged euphoria. Waldo and Chu look for Devon Butler, but they then are defeated by Devon's classmates of his school. He then threatens Devon's main enemies Rio and McNally (who Devon had taken care of earlier) that he's not done with them for smashing their car. Devon is inadvertently caught by Waldo and Chu after he snuck into his car, only to be recused by his partner Nick McKenna. Vinnie and Waldo chase the protagonists via boat after leaving the warehouse. The two antagonists get stuck after Waldo crashes their boat. Devon pulls a lever that gets both Waldo and Vinnie covered with fish guts. After Vinnie complains about the fish, Waldo becomes annoyed beyond belief and tells his boss to shut up. The latter's are then arrested off-screen.
