|“||Useless husks! Do you bend the knee to me already? Pah! I've no use for blind obedience. I need you to face me! I was driven off the path to conquest, and only blood will see me returned to it. Only HIS blood!||„|

|“||ME, JOIN YOU?! Does a pegasus join with the flea on its back? A dragon, with a cow it eats?! You forget your place, BOY. I am the Conqueror! I will unite the world!||„|

Walhart is a major antagonist in the 2012 video game Fire Emblem Awakening. He is the tyrannical emperor of the Valmnese Empire, who sought to conquer the entire continent of Ylisse, under his desire for power and a belief that his world-wide conquest would be the best way to stop Grima from destroying the world.
He is voiced by Naomi Kusumi in Japanese and Richard Epcar in English.
Walhart is a tall and muscular man with white hair and pale eyes. He wears a large crimson set of armor with metalitic horns around his head.
|“||I simply... conquered. Power was my justice, my everything. I brought the world to new depths of terror. I let it... intoxicate me. You will need strength like mine in these trying times. Try to wield it wisely.||„|
|~ Walhart to Morgan (if he married the female Robin and subsquently became Morgan's father.|
Walhart is an arrogant and vocal man of war, who staunchly believes in his war of conquest, seeing it as the only way to achieve eternal peace. He also hates the idea of the Dragons and Gods forcing humanity to fight endless wars, so he would start a war itself to conquer the world and earn peace.
Besides that, Walhart is no less a man of honor. He also apparently cares about his subordinates (with the exception of Excellus due to him discovering the latter to be a Grimleal spy) and earned their loyalty and respect through his power. Despite this, his eagar of peace through conquer had caused him to become a pawn to Grima, the very same being Walhart sought to stop.
After joining Chrom's force, Walhart did not abandon his belief and was still arrogant, but gradually he began to change to the better by showing more affectionate side and respect to his allies, especially Chrom and Robin despite Walhart's own disapporval of tricks in war. During his supports with both Robins, Walhart eventually realized that his way was not always the best way to solve everything.
If he married the female Robin and became Morgan's father subsquently, Walhart, at first, was distant to his child from the future (though in English version, he was much more threatening in reaction of Morgan fretted for his memory issues). Gradually, however, Walhart started to show some true fathering affection to Morgan as well, acknoledging the fact that he had been abusing his power that bring the world into terror, and thus he advised Morgan to use their power inheritated from him wisely.
In addition to that, Walhart was also a strict vegetarian.
The continent ruled by Walhart, known as Valm, was originally the continent of Valentia which was renamed after Alm of Rigel Kingdom unified the continent after his marriage with Princess Celica, becoming the first emperor of a unified Valentia. The continient was later renamed as Valm, dedicated to Alm's memory.
However, sometime after Alm passed away, the unified Valmnese Empire had fell apart into different kingdoms and seperated regions. Later, Walhart rose from the fray and conquered the entire continent, unifying it into his Valmnese Empire once more.

|“||Look at you! Are you not ashamed? Your mind is filled with nothing but secondhand beliefs. You dance upon the stage of your gods like a mindless puppet! THAT is what I reject: being a slave to tradition, to obligation. The old ways. Damn the gods! Damn their fates and their destinies! I will have true freedom! Any man who offers less is my enemy.||„|
