Z-90, more commonly known as Wall Dwellers are supporting antagonists in the 2023 Roblox horror game Pressure. They are some of the rarest deadly creatures in the game, only appearing with a 1/62 chance. They are also one of the hardest creatures to deter.

Appearance[]

Wall Dwellers appear as an armless humanoid that looks like they are made of wood. Their front side is made of drywall, and they can change colors to blend in with walls, only appearing as a humanoid bump in a wall. When they exit the wall and pursue their target, they turn beige and reveal the thousands of tiny holes throughout their body. When they attack, their head splits into three pieces which reveal their shark mouth.

Mechanic[]

Wall Dwellers can only appear in a 1/62 chance of appearing in any given room besides the first 10. Wall Dwellers appear in their hibernating phase, where they turn the exact color of the wall they are on and barely make a dent in it. After a player opens the next door, the Wall Dweller will get out of the wall and stalk the player, only stopping the pursuit when the player looks at it, where it will run away. Wall Dwellers can also fake the retreat by running less far away and continuing the cycle. A Wall Dweller can only do this once. If the Angler attacks during this, the wall dweller will fall over dead, allowing the player to eat it, giving them regeneration powers. If a player gets in a locker during the stalking phase, the Wall Dweller will wait outside and kill the player when they get out.

Biography[]

Wall Dwellers, according to the document, were discovered in an abandoned office building when some online influencers went in and immediately got attacked, police described the creatures as, "armless wooden men." Blacksite operatives captured all 29 instances of Z-90 (Wall Dwellers) and found the camera and destroyed it because of how obnoxious the influencers were. Once captured, the scientists wanted to figure out how to use the Wall Dweller's camouflage powers for use, and afterwards, the Wall Dwellers would be terminated. That is, before all the creatures escaped containment and killed most employees.

Trivia[]

  • Wall Dwellers have a rare version called a Rotten Wall Dweller. These Wall Dwellers do not behave differently from the regular Wall Dwellers, but the wall it inhabits is covered in a moldy, glowing moss called Rotten Coral, leading to the Wall Dweller being covered in the material.
  • Wall Dwellers die to Anglers. This implies, unlike Squiddles (a passive creature) Wall Dwellers have neuron activity despite being said that they have no vital organs besides a stomach.
  • Wall Dwellers' attack strategy is to stalk their prey. It then kicks the back of the prey's knee in, flip them over, and then rip their neck open and eat everything; meat, cloth and bone.
  • Wall Dwellers are directly inspired and designed after Filth from ULTRAKILL[1]
