The Waller Empire are the main antagonists of Jikuu Senshi Spielban. Based from their mobile castle fortress Gamedeath, the Waller travel across the universe searching for water for their deity, Guardian Spirit Waller. They are the ones who destroyed Clin, the home planet of Spielban and Diana, for its water and have their sights set on Earth next.

History[]

In search of water to feed and sustain their ruler deity, the Waller invaded the planet Clin, a planet rich with water and other life-sustaining resources, ravaging it and rendering it virtually uninhabitable. With little resources left to sustain themselves, the survivors send two children, Spielban and Diana, to the planet Earth for them to survive.

12 years after Spielban and Diana arrived on Earth however, the Waller Empire came to the planet seeking to steal its water as well. In response to this, Spielban and Diana stood up to defend their new home from Waller's invasion.

It is later revealed that Spielban and Diana actually were sent from the future, and that Clin is in fact a future Earth - hence the title 'Jikuu Senshi' (meaning warrior of space and time: the origin of Spielban actually had been revealed on the title, containing a major spoiler from the onset). After the Waller Empire was destroyed in the present, a new timeline was created in which they never existed, except in the minds of Spielban and his allies.

Waller Castle Gamedeath[]

Gamedeath Ep4

Gamedeath is the mobile fortress headquarters of the Waller Empire, in which their ruler Waller resides. It resembles a winged-flying turtle and is colossal in size. It is equipped to harvest water by submerging itself in any large pool of the liquid, enabling it to be used by Waller for their nefarious purposes. It also houses Waller's fleet of Skulljaw Battleships.

Skulljaws[]

Skulljaws Ep1

Skulljaws are the battleships which comprise the fleet of the Waller Empire. Their appearance resembles giant flying sharks. They are used for transporting resources between Waller's various outposts, in addition to direct combat. They are mainly housed on Gamedeath, and are deployed from it in battles against Spielban when he pilots the Grand Nazca.

Fighters[]

Waller Fighters Ep31

Waller Fighters are small fighter jet-like vehicles that serve as the main combatants of Waller's fleet. They typically fly in teams of three. They are dispatched from Skulljaws and are used to fight Spielban whenever he pilots Grand Nazca.

Skulldon[]

Skulldon Ep4

The Skulldon is General Deathzero's personal vehicle, which he uses to battle Spielban in Gaios. It is primarily a ground vehicle, though its top off is capable of splitting off from the bottom to form the Skulldon Jet. The Skulldon Jet is armed with a two-barreled missile launcher, while the bottom half - Skulldon Cutter - is armed with a buzzsaw.

Tanks[]

Waller Tanks Ep1

The unnamed black tanks of the Waller Empire comprise the heavy artillery for its ground forces. They somewhat resemble tanks found on Earth and are deployed in large waves to assist Skulldon whenever General Deathzero pilots it into battle.

Similar to regular tanks, they are each armed with a rotating cannon as their primary weapon. They are usually sent out to fight Spielban whenever he's piloting Gaios, assisting Deathzero in doing so.

Waller Plankton[]

Waller Plankton Ep16

The Waller Plankton are microscopic creatures secreted by Waller himself. They typically show up in areas affected by Waller activity, with their presence being a clue that Waller is in a certain location. They are also dangerous to sea life, and thus dead fish are often a sign of Waller activity.

When exposed to humans, Waller Plankton can affect them in a variety of ways. Continued exposure to Waller Plankton seems to lower someone's sanity and drive them crazy. They also have physiological affects as well, such as causing the skin of anyone who inhales them to rot and become mummified. These effects only come about from prolonged exposure however, and if a person stops being exposed to Waller Plankton then the plankton's influence will cease and they will return to normal.
