Warren Pryce is a major antagonist in Season 3 of the Syfy horror comedy series Chucky.
He is a CIA operative who works for the US government during President James Collins' mandate. However, once the titular serial killing doll invades the White House, Pryce resorts to any questionable methods to uncover who commits those murders.
He was portrayed by Gil Bellows, who also played Howard Metzler in Law & Order, Banks in Hunt to Kill, and Maxwell Lord in Smallville.
History[]
Warren Pryce is a CIA agent who vehemently opposes President James Collins' platform of and refuses to allow the exposure of government secrets. Pryce is called in by President Collins to investigate the apparent suicide of Teddy. Pryce focuses on covering up the suspicious activity at the White House at all costs.
As murders continue happening throughout the White House, Pryce focuses on covering all of it up and does not allow the public to know anything what is happening. Pryce blackmails Charlotte to stay quiet, threatening to reveal her affair.
Once Chucky murders President Collins, Pryce immediately focuses on covering up his death by using the President's double to give a statement to the public, making him lie by saying that he is fatally ill. When the President's double is no longer useful to him, Pryce attempts to have him killed, however he ends up being trapped alongside one of Pryce's men in an elevator as it fills with blood, drowning both of them.
When the supernatural activity kicks up around the White House, Pryce allows a psychic to be brought in to help with the investigation. He gives drugs to Jake that puts him in a death state, allowing him to go into the spirit world to talk to Chucky and attempt to find out the location of Caroline. Chucky leaves the teens and Timmy to plant firebombs throughout the White House to burn it down with the teens inside to erase all evidence.
Hicks attempts to stop Pryce from burning down the White House and murdering the teens. Pryce murders him by slitting his throat. While searching for Hicks, the President's son, Grant finds Hicks bleeding out. Hicks gives a key to Grant before he dies. Pryce then attacks Grant and attempts to stop him from leaving. Pryce overpowers and throws Grant, but Grant hits Pryce with a chair, knocking him down. Grant locks Pryce in the Oval Office as the White House flames.
Pryce attempts to furious escape, but is trapped. As the fire spreads, Pryce tries to escape through another door but sees the ghosts of historical figures, shocking him and making him back away. Pryce's left arm catches on fire as more bombs go off, and the fire spreads. Pryce is engulfed in flames and screams as he is burned alive. He makes it out of the Oval Office through the White House's front entrance, where he collapses and dies.
Personality[]
Pryce is a manipulative, calculating, cruel, and malicious individual with no regard for human life. He will kill anyone and take any measures necessary in order to ensure that his job is done. When he fire bombs the White House and leaves the teens who are trapped inside to die, he shows deep sadism by stating how he is happy that it came to this.
