~ Warren Vandergeld threatens the Wilson Sisters
Warren Vandergeld is the main antagonist of the 2004 buddy cop comedy film White Chicks. He is a wealthy businessman who is the father of the snobbish models, the Vandergeld Sisters and the mastermind of the kidnapping of the Wilson sisters.
He was portrayed by the late John Heard of Home Alone fame.
Biography
Warren realizes he and his family are in serious debt, and he needs money fast, so he decides to kidnap the Wilson sisters and hold them for ransom, when Marcus and Kevin disguised as them to go undercover to stop him.
Later at the nightclub, Karen slips to Marcus and Kevin that Warren is really penniless, and has been taking loans from her father, which makes the duo arrive at the conclusion that Warren is the mastermind behind the kidnappings. Warren and Heath are planing to kidnap the Wilson sisters at fashion show.
Afterwards, Kevin and Marcus soon discovered that Warren had funneled large sums of money through his modest charity, and attempt to notify Gordon, but Marcus stops Kevin and convincing him that they should personally intervene to redeem themselves.
Once at the Fashion, the real Wilson sisters exposes Marcus and Kevin to the crowds. This causes mass confusion between the quartets and audience, which Warren then uses this as opportunity to begin the kidnapping. However, Heath and Russ incorrectly capture Brittany and Kevin, who then begins a brawl between Heath and Russ, a pair of friends hired by Warren to aid in the kidnappings and to get involved with the girls as well.
Although, Warren manages to successfully capture the real Wilson Sisters. Warren then reveals his true color to his daughters and his wife. Marcus also reveals Heather and Megan that Warren is broke, making them cry in dismay. He confesses that he had funneled the modest charity auction money into his private account, in order for his family to stay wealthy.
Unbeknownst to him, Denise Porter, (a news reporter and later unknowing romantic love interest of FBI agent Kevin Copeland) and her cameraman manages to record his confession. Realizing he has been exposed, Warren tries to shoot Denise and the cameraman, but Kevin is nearly shot after trying to protect her.
Warren then turns to Marcus and makes a last ditch attempt to kill him. However, Latrell intervenes and gets shot in the shoulder while trying to protect Marcus. Kevin finally shoots Warren and successfully captures him.
It implied that Warren and his accomplices were arrested and sent to federal prison for their federal crimes.
