Wayne Nolan is the main antagonist in the 1985 comedy film Desperately Seeking Susan.

He is portrayed by Will Patton, who also played General Bethlehem in The Postman, Quentin Glass in The Punisher, Garrett Randall in Yellowstone and Alan Wilson in 24.

Biography

Wayne Nolan is a criminal who was working with a mobster named Bruce Meeker. In 1982 they were released pending appeal for smuggling. In 1985 they stole some ancient Egyptian artifacts, Nefertiti earrings. He is in Atlantic City, New Jersey and goes to a hotel to get the artifacts from Bruce. He sees a woman named Susan Thomas leaving Bruce's hotel room. Wayne goes to the room and murders Bruce by pushing him out of the hotel room. He realizes that Susan took the artifacts.

Wayne would go to New York City to find Susan and would see a woman who looks like Susan named Roberta Glass at Battery Park. Wayne assumed that Roberta is Susan cause Roberta bought Susan's jacket at a pawn store. He tries to grab her and she pulls away from her and she would fall towards a pole and bump her head on the pole and get amnesia.

Later on at a diner, Wayne would see Roberta with a man named Dez getting ready to have breakfast. Wayne would observe them and follow them.

Wayne would later on find Roberta in an alley and try to grab her and cause her to bump her head and recover her memory. He ends up ransacking Dez's place looking for the artifacts. Later on Wayne would go the The Magic Club where Roberta works at and try to get the Nefertiti earrings from her and ends up taking Susan by gunpoint. Wayne ends getting a wine bottle on the head by Roberta and saves Susan. It is assumed that not too long after he would go to prison.
