| ~ The Weather Wizard |
The Weather Wizard (real name Mark Mardon) is a weather manipulating supervillain from the Flash comics and media and a supporting antagonist in the DC Universe. He is also a member of the Rogues.
Biography[]
Modern Age[]
The Weather Wizard was already a violent criminal before he gained his powers and had escaped prison. He made it to his brother's house, where he discovered that his brother had created a bizarre wand that could control the weather. He wanted this wand so badly that he killed his brother to obtain it.
At some point, Mardon had a son with Julie Jackam; the young Joshua "Josh" Jackam. The baby was at first believed to be Wally West's son, since Julie had also been with him. However, it was later revealed Josh had the same powers as Mardon. During the Final Crisis storyline, Josh was ultimately murdered in front of Mardon by Kid Zoom.
SILVER AGE--
Being taken on the traditional "train ride to Sing Sing" after being convicted of burglary, convict Mark Mardon leaped off the train and headed for the VERY remote observatory home of his brother Clyde; a hermit who he hadn't seen in years. Mardon claimed that he found his brother already dead of natural causes when he arrived, and found journals detailing his weather-control experiments that were in such simple layman terms that he could understand them. A dark green jumpsuit and the cramming of his brother's discoveries into a "Weather Wand" ,and Mardon began his criminal career.
Although he boasted that "only The Flash has been able to stop me", the one occasion Mardon challenged The Batman ended in disaster. He was also stopped by Wally West/Kid Flash and Ralph Dibny/Elongated Man when he kept a small town in "perpetual winter" as the perfect hideout.
New 52[]
Weather Wizard during the "Rogues War" arc
In the Post-Flashpoint continuity, Mark was renamed as Marco Mardon. Originally, Marco wanted nothing to do with organized crime, and shunned the tainted legacy until his brother Claudio was shot dead. This was no rival mob hit, but a murder scheme orchestrated by the victim's ambitious wife Elsa. She was concerned Claudio was surrendering too much family territory in the name of peace. Enraged, Marco returned, just as Elsa had anticipated he would. As The Flash debuted, Marco assumed the name and mantle of Weather Wizard and electrocuted his sister-in-law with lightning. The Flash became a sworn enemy, and it became clear that the technology Mardon used was driving him crazy.
When Captain Cold accepted a destabilizing power boost from Lex Luthor, who recently became an agent of Perpetua, Mardon joined rebel Rogues with Mirror Master and Heat Wave in helping Lisa and The Flash confront "King Cold", who reshaped Central City into his personal playground.

After Clyde was killed by the CCPD detective Joe West, Mark attacks the Central City Morgue's coroner by shooting him with giant balls of hail. The person tells Mark that Joe West killed his brother. He is later seen when Barry is driving with Joe. Mark tries to kill them, but ends up only destroying the car.
He is later seen at the police station trying to kill Joe, but the Flash runs in and grabs an item called the Wizard's Wand, which disables his power. Mark escapes. He is seen for the last time in "Out of Time" capturing Joe and destroying the city with a tsunami. However, this doesn't happen because the Flash messes with the timeline and imprisons Mark. Mark later becomes a member of the Rogues, and in season 5, it is revealed that he had a daughter named Joslyn Jackam (portrayed by Reina Hardesty) during high school, but he eventually abandoned her and her mother. Seeking revenge for destroying her life, Joss decides to become the Weather Witch using a meta-tech staff to kill her father, joining the Young Rogues soon after.
Mark's brother Clyde is first seen in the "pilot" at a barn, shooting at policemen. He then boards a plane, which explodes due to the particle explosion. He is then seen robbing a bank with his new found power to create and control clouds. He is then seen driving a car, which Barry Allen catches up to with his superspeed. The car crashes and Clyde escapes by creating a giant cloud. He is finally seen cornered by Joe West and Eddie Thawne in the barn. He blasts then away, then creates a tornado headed for Central City.
